Superficiality;
We are all just shallow.
We think that we are making our own way
But, instead, we are travelling along a road; long ago created.To differentiate ourselves we listen to a different type of music,
Wear an alternative style of clothing,
Take more intoxicating pills.
But then, we become part of a cult.Being individual is not an option
But we strive to not be main-stream.
When told that we are not alone,
It does not create a solace.
Because sometimes we want to be different.We are all doppelgängers, clones
And try, as you may, to be yourself
but in the eyes of society, we can always be categorised.
