Talk to one friend
And then another.
Say you hate her,
Then that you love her.
Tell me I'm wrong,
You make the same mistakes.
The inevitable you prolong,
But for goodness sake;
You lie to me
And then your heart.
You say your plea,
And make a start.
You have a go at redemption,
And have the audience's full attention.
Stop going back on your word,
And leaving me pathetically alone.
I heard you the first time, second, third,
Yet I let you sit on your almighty throne.
Say that you hate her,
Then that you love her.
But I know that we will have one another,
Maybe I'm a fool for being your other.
Your a hypocrite,
And I am your catnip.
So pretend you have your independence,
But you keep coming back to check my dependence.
You need me as much as I need you,
And love me more than I love you.
