I see the light fade from your eyes.
I see the girl at your side fall apart.
I hear your desperation as you try to fight me.
I hear your urgent plea but this is your time.
I feel the earth-shattering silence broken by a broken breath.
I feel you fear me and all of the unknown.
I taste your salty tears as they slide slowly away.
I taste the memories of today and yesterday like a bitter taste.
I watch the pounding of your slowing heart.
I watch you give up and fall into my arms.I am the hands of death.
