You were a ring of daisies;
I threaded you together
So that I could have all of the perfect things I wanted
But it made you weaker.
I slung you around my wrists
Or put you in my hair.
You were beautiful and fragile
And I destroyed you.
Now I pull the petals off of your bud
To see whether you love me or love me not
But of course you did.
I manipulated you
To be everything and nothing
And now there are no petals
And I have lost you.
It was me
And now I love me not too.
