There is solace to be found when you squint your eyes at the perfect angle, or tilt your chin just far enough towards the all encompassing sky.
When you finally take your last breath and just simply cease to be,
(In this universe at least)
The planet will continue to move in its never ending orbit;
Every living moment for everyone else will be filled with blinking, and thoughts that matter, or are completely meaningless.Hands and bodies will be held closer,
Laughter will dance on the edge of tomorrow,
Falling in love will be a scent like spring flowers or earth after rainstorms.I like to be reminded that the world is not revolving around me and the mistakes and flaws i hold myself wholly responsible for;
And so when life fails me and it is done,
All earth will continue without hesitation or interference.I would love to matter enough to stop the sun burning,
But I like the reassurance that there will still be the beauty that i so admire.
