Chapter 69 Wolves Return

As we were running, I felt odd, like we were somehow looping. "Wait... y'all notice we're looping, right? Something is off," I said as we looked around. "It seems we're in a trap of some sort," Alcaurd said as we saw Irene running to us, waving. "That's not her!" Alcaurd said, shooting at Irene, but Irene dodged, and a shadowy afterimage appeared. "Loki," Tyler said, annoyed. "In the flesh," he said, showing his true appearance: a tall, slender, handsome man with red hair. We all looked at him, annoyed. "Don't like the shapeshifting?" he asked us as we still looked annoyed. "Okay, look, I had to just stop you so I could ask why you all didn't kill that third person who was with Dracula," Loki said, pissed. "What do you mean?" Leona asked. "That is another me. I was trying to create different versions of me until I was taken from my world and brought here. I tried to use my magic and everything until THAT thing took them. I can barely do anything now, and you all let him go free; now I'm still trapped here looking like an idiot," Loki said, sitting on the snow and pouting. "Grow a ass, man, pouting," Tyler said, laughing. "It's not funny! I am a god, and I lose to that; now there's a fake running around. This is serious!" Loki stressed. "And how do we know you're not tricking us, trickster?" Chris asked, laughing. Loki emptied his pockets to show he had no weapon and even tried multiple times to do his magic. We made him do it for 20 minutes until we felt like we could trust him. "Thank you, that was exhausting," Loki said, out of breath. "That was mean," Alcaurd said to us. "Hush, sexy, we had to," Miriam said out of the blue. We all looked at her. "Anyways, real Loki, welcome to the team. Can't do much for you, though," Miriam said. "What?" Loki was confused. "Because we don't know how to get that fake version of you out of hiding, so we don't know how to help," I explained. "But I want to go back home. I can't do anything here," Loki said. "And I want to as well, but we can't do a lot to go back," Chloe said. "What's taking you all so... is that Loki?" Irene said, digging from under the ground. "Hi, Irene, and yes, this is Loki. His stuff was taken from him by some weird person we met, along with Terra and Dracula," I said. "Oh, must be the person at the camp. He has a sword and is saying some words, which is making a weird effect happen," Irene explained, which alerted Loki. "He's trying to make an illusion of something, but as he was doing so, a lot of wolves were showing up," Irene said. "IT'S AN ILLUSION OF OUR FATHER!!" Sashi said angrily over the comms. "But Kael wasn't an illusion, though," Chris said. "Mr. Loki, illusions can do that to the point where they are physical," Leona said, nerding out again. "Yes...but you need other sources to successfully do that on the fly. Also this one is my favorite," Loki said, and he then got scared by Samantha looking at him. "She's mine," Samantha said, lifting up Leona. "I don't want her in that way, idiot," Loki said, but got a small static shock from Samantha.

We all made it to the camp and found the person who stole Loki's powers. "Give them back to me, and your death will hopefully not be painful," Loki said to him. "The name is Venom, and you will not have your powers back," he said, annoyed. "Is that some type of code name or what?" Loki asked, confused. "It is, but why does it matter?" Venom asked. "It doesn't, but you being put down does," I said, walking towards him. Venom tried to put an illusion on all of us, but it didn't work. "What the hell?" Venom was confused. "I didn't even have to help. How the hell did his illusion not fool you all?" Loki asked us. We just looked at each other as we didn't know. Venom tried it again, but nothing worked. I entered my eclipse form and prepared to blast Venom. "You would use all your power against me? You wouldn't," Venom said, smiling. I did a full blast that knocked everyone back. Once everything settled, we saw a tall muscular female wolf with a sword and shield defending Venom. "I'm getting the hell out of here; you take care of this," Venom said, trying to fly away, but Chris threw his chain around him and pulled him towards us. The tall wolf charged at us and tried to attack but missed. "LOKI!" Chris yelled as Loki grabbed Venom and took his powers back. "Damn it," Venom said as the tall wolf got in front of him. "Now give me back my brother, my father, our world, and my daughter," Loki demanded. "Never," Venom said before disappearing. "Vera girl, take them out," Terra said, appearing from behind Vera. "So has Terra fucked us all over? Even I was fucked over by Terra all the way in the past," Leona said as her energy got darker and more ravens showed up. "The raven. So you're using them again. Well, this will get interesting," Terra said before leaving, but Katrina followed her. "Katrina. Damn it," Trio said, chasing them. "Vera, I know you're not real, but can you please not fight us?" Irene asked her, but Vera just looked at her. "I'm not your Vera. I am not your father's shield. I was made to stop you and put an end to you and the fake queen," Vera said before battling us. Before we fully got started, Terra came flying back to us, but when she hit the ground, she was bleeding black blood from her arm. "Are you?" Trio was stunned and confused, trying to figure out Terra. Katrina was confused too, but the two had to dodge Vera's heavy sword swing, which let Terra get away.

"An android?" Leona asked. "Dr. Kaelen, I'm sending you this blood information. See if you and Lynx can figure it out while we fight Vera," Eva said. "I will, but please don't die," Lynx said. "We don't plan to," Chris said. "Anyone got anything?" Tyler asked. "I got it. Follow my lead," Leona said, sending her ravens at Vera, whose shield blocked the raven's attack. Leona then shot out a void energy ball that connected with Vera. "She can't block projectiles right now. Then that's what we need to do," Irene said as we all started blasting Vera. But since Vera was a tank, she shrugged off a few blasts and swung her heavy sword at us. She then started slamming the sword into the ground, which sent out ice shockwaves that froze us on contact. She even started charging at us with her shield, which hurt like hell and knocked us around. Eva tried to clash with her shield, but Vera's strength was much more than Eva's, but instead of Vera being knocked back, Eva rode the shield and punched straight into her, cracking it. Once the shield cracked, a small explosion happened. Vera got up, dropping her shield and sword.

"When an illusion is made like this, it requires... parts. The Kael you fought was made using a spare human in the ranks and taking over them. With me, I am an android programmed via illusion magic to help me. We didn't need your powers, Loki... It was only used to make the process easier. You reclaimed your powers too late, as I was the last to be made," Vera said. "So wait, you're telling me that my whole family has already been copied?" Irene asked, confused. "Yes. And also, Irene and Sashi, how would you feel to kill the people who killed your family?" Vera asked as a portal opened behind her. A big tall wolf man walked through. This wolf was wearing a fancy suit and had a faint purple glow to his eyes. "VEYRITH!!" Sashi yelled out in anger. "You leave this castle, I will attack you no matter if you're my wife," Tuya said with a serious tone. "Using your family is funny to me because I'm pretty much winning again," Veyrith said with a calm tone, fixing his hair. "Vera, you mind hurting them badly? Terra needs them badly hurt after all," Veyrith said as Vera's chest opened up and started charging a massive laser. "Guys, I don't think my shield will block this," Jacqueline said, worried. Vera fired her laser, but before it could make contact with us, the laser stopped and disappeared. "Huh?" Veyrith was confused, like us. An axe fell from the sky right next to Irene. It was the same one her father has. "No... no, no, no, no," Veyrith said, panicking. A heavy mist started behind us as we heard howls getting closer to us. "So you have returned like us. Thanks to Eva, we showed up just in time," a voice said.

'DAD!' Irene called out as the axe flew from her hand and into the tall mystical wolf's hands, who was wearing a crown. Two others showed up, and they were the real Kael and Vera. 'My, how much you have grown, hun. I'm so proud of you,' the king said, petting Irene on the head, which caused her to make cute noises and wag her tail. 'That damn world's three versions of Eva have been causing us problems... no worries. Nice to see you again, Aurelion. May our next battle be amazing,' Veyrith said calmly, walking away through a portal. 'Wait... energy... low... help,' the fake Vera said weakly, looking for help, but the real Vera walked up to her and ripped her head off with her bare hands. 'Don't mock me ever again,' Vera said. 'Where's Elyra?' Vera asked. 'I'm here... oof,' Elyra said, tripping into the snow. 'MOM!' Irene shouted. 'Lady Elyra, you must be careful. We have been dead for a while. You need to get used to things again,' the last wolf said, with starry white fur and glowing blue eyes. 'I will. Thank you, Caelum,' Elyra said as she was picked up by him. 'P... please come to my castle... please,' Sashi said, sounding like she was crying. 'Sashi, is that you?' Elyra asked. 'Y... yes, mom,' Sashi said, crying. 'Is that really you?' Sashi asked. 'No tricks. It's really your family. Again, I don't like Terra and them, so I'm helping out as much as I can. By the way, grab that android; I have something for you all to build, but it does require two things: giant wolf parts and these blueprints I have for you, but first, that giant wolf needs to be taken care of,' World three Eva said. 'Alright, where is it?' I asked. 'Near you all and getting close,' Amanda said as drones flew in and quickly picked up the android parts. 'Me, Chris, Tyler, and Eva will fight this big bad wolf; everyone get to Sashi's castle at once,' I ordered. Everyone else flew away while the four of us stayed and fought. 'I'll stay with you all as support,' Alcaurd said.
