Tobi watched the airship fall. He didn't even flinch as the massive craft erupted into flames and fell to the deepest reaches of the ocean. Perhaps he had considered Blayde to be a sort of right-hand man. But in the end, he was only mortal, just like the rest of them. That made Tobi different. Watching over the death and destruction below, he felt a new sense of power. He had never forgotten that he was much more powerful that any human. But now, he knew that death could be exercised to meet different goals. For example, the boy had killed Blayde, which had surely brought him satisfaction. Tobi enjoyed death too. Watching the suffering in people's eyes as they begged. He knew that he could end a life in an instant. And that was what gave him an idea. Before, in order to obtain the emeralds, he had threatened the foolish children with death on many occasions. But each time, they had defied him. Well, that wasn't going to happen again. Blayde's death showed him just how disposable his henchmen were. All the children needed was a reason to believe he meant what he said. And they would get it.

He turned back towards the door to the inside of the airship. For a moment, he let the wind ripple against his face, then he pushed the intercom button. "Caskey. Turn this ship around. We're going to Castelia City again."

There was a crackle, and then the young man replied. "Of course. Is there anything you need?"

"Have Neira prepare a form of communication. Oh, and another thing." Tobi smiled to himself. "When we get there, set this ship to autopilot. Have it on the outskirts of Unova like the others."

"If you don't mind my asking, Master, why is that?"

"Because," Tobi licked his lips. "When we get there, all of you are coming down with me. We're going to pay those fools a visit – all of us, together."

I was sat on the edge of the bed, looking down at my phone. Nelly was just finishing up in the shower, and I was dressed and ready to head out. But I had received a text a moment ago, from Darragh. He told me that Blayde was dead. Then he asked where we were. I replied by telling him that we'd be there in five minutes.

So, Blayde was dead. Skyra had really done it. I thought back to our time in Sinnoh. Blayde had been a formidable force. He was much too strong for me – heck, he even knocked me out long before our fight with him ended. Only Skyra had been strong enough to match him, and now, it seemed he had finally gotten the better of him. Death wasn't something I particularly welcomed to anybody, but in this case, I didn't feel pity or sympathy. That man had it coming. But if we didn't stop Tobi soon, then the fate of death would fall upon millions. Much, much more than just the entire population of Orre.

I put my phone away and looked back. I had everything I needed. My Pokemon were safe in their PokeBalls, in my pocket. Nothing was left behind. On the bedside, Nelly's pendant was resting there on its own. She had removed it before going to get changed. I walked over to it and picked it up. My face was reflected in the shiny gold surface, and the heart shape was perfect. With a bit of hesitation, I pushed the tiny button on the side. The heart clicked, and the two pieces moved apart on a hinge. Before pressing the button, you wouldn't have known it even had separate parts. There, in the thicker half, was a photo of us. It had been taken by Alexis last Christmas. Nelly and I were standing in front of the fireplace, our arms around each other, smiling at the camera.

"Hm." I smiled to myself. The other half of the heart had a small indent in it, curving into the gold. It was small, yet just big enough to fit a small charm in there. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small green stone. The last of the three pear-shaped gems with the power to repel the Ryuusei Blade... One had caused Tobi's cannon to backfire, saving Unova from destruction. The second was in Skyra's sword. And now this one...
