“Aquilina's power?” Xene blinked. “But that's impossible!”

“How could he possibly control it...?” Aquilina stood up, finished fixing Janus' wound.

“The bigger question is, how did he get it?” Skyra wondered.

“There are still a lot of things we don't know about him...” Darragh growled. “I get the feeling that even now, he's holding back on his true strength.”

“I need answers.” I shook my head.

“Before answers comes safety.” Megan sighed.

“Where's the last emerald?” Ethan knelt beside Janus. “We can get it if we hurry.”

“There is... No need.” He slowly sat upright. “I have already contacted one of your friends...”

“When?”

“After you all left the mansion, I tracked down the final emerald, but you had all left, so I called upon your comrade, the one who uses Water type Pokemon.”

“Sam?” I asked.

“Yes.”

“He'd better be fast...” Skyra grit his teeth.

“Does he know that Tobi is back?” Darragh enquired.

Janus nodded, standing up.

“What do we do next, then?” Xene shook his head.

“It's still early in the morning, but all of this has happened...” Nelly sighed.

“Darragh, you were making that sword, right?” Skyra pointed to the red blade on the ground.

“Er, yes. It isn't quite finished, though...” He fixed his glasses.

“Can you help me make a sword? I have to fight too.”

“All right... It will take some time, though...” Darragh picked up his tools that had fallen.

“Everyone, rest up.” Janus declared. “I feel even this is just the calm before the storm...”

In the Sinnoh region, Sam had set foot in the Valor Cavern. The old cave had puddles of water inside, set still to form a strange shape. The Gym Leader walked carefully towards the altar that had been described to him. A lifeless gemstone hovered above it, waiting to be claimed. Floating around the jewel were three Pokemon, the embodiment of Knowledge, Emotion and Willpower. Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf watched Sam as he moved closer. “Is it all right if I take this?” He asked the powerful beings.
