I knelt down and pressed my hands against the grass. With my eyes closed, I willed the Earth to take my strength. Golden light flowed along my arms and washed into the ground. Below the surface, the inside of the planet flashed golden, all across the globe.

"What are you doing?" Lydia asked.

"Tobi doesn't care about the damage he causes." I said, getting back to my feet. "He'll get back here, and he'll hit the ground at full speed."

"But how fast is that?" Victor asked. "And what will happen?"

"Theoretically speaking..." Janus looked up at the sky as it began to lose its blue colour. "We would suffer a fate much worse than that of the dinosaurs."

"You mean he's as strong as a meteor?!" Xene gasped.

"Much stronger." I nodded. "Not only would the impact wipe all life off the planet, but the planet itself would shatter and tear itself apart."

"How do we stop that from happening?!" Lydia seemed panicked.

"I just did." I smiled.

"Huh?"

"I've reinforced the Earth's core." I looked at the ground. "It should be enough. I hope so, at least, because I'm running out."

The golden aura surrounding my body was dim, like a candle wavering in the wind.

"But if you can't fight him, nobody can..." Skyra pointed out.

"I know. I'll take the power back after he arrives." I focused my attention on the clouds. There was a sparkle, distant and ominous, just visible in the distance. "Everybody, get back and take cover!" I ordered.

Tobi tore through space, making journeys in mere minutes that NASA couldn't achieve in decades. He flew past the moon, and saw Earth, sitting amongst the void of stars. Clouds swirled in its atmosphere, and landmasses were nothing more than small specks. The blue of the oceans and seas took up most of the space, but even so, Tobi had angled himself easily enough. He gritted his teeth and pushed on even faster, ripping into the Earth's atmosphere. Flames engulfed him as he dived down, turning him into a shooting star. The wind struggled to try and keep up, but it had no chance. In the blink of an eye, he was below the clouds, the ground directly below him.

I leapt backwards and the ground in front of me erupted. I felt the force of the wind blast outwards, and I was thrown from my feet as chunks of soil, rocks and stones were thrown uselessly into the sky. The sound of the impact was incredible, smashing against the inside of my skull. I had no doubt that it would be heard all over the world. Even with my best efforts, the ground shook violently for miles. I came down and sprung off the ground with my hands, flipping back onto my feet. The crater that had been made was enormous. The one that was made earlier was nothing compared to this. It was like the ground was trying to suck in everything around it, loose walls of dirt sliding down into the centre. A cloud of dust was rising from the point of impact, and there was no movement coming from within.

Then, as if he had read my thoughts, Tobi flapped his wings once. The single surge sent the cloud into a frenzy, tearing itself apart from the inside. He stood there, his eyes ablaze with anger. He could see that I was low on energy, my light flickering in comparison to his.

"Is that the best you've got?" He asked, bordering hysteria.

"You want my best?" I snarled. "Come and get it!"

With that, the Earth returned what I had lent it. Golden light rose from to the surface, pouring back into my control. With each second I felt it course through me, stronger and stronger. It was time for round two.
