Jayden had come to us with love in his heart, wanting to see his parents happy. He had caused everyone to become closer through his ordeal, and he had left on sad, but also happy terms. Then Tobi had ripped him from wherever he had been, and completely voided his final, smiling goodbye. Now, the last image of the boy we had was him dying. Dying in my arms...

I just stayed there, on my knees, frozen. Jayden's head was in my hands, and Nelly was sobbing into my chest. Tears were rolling down my cheeks, but I couldn't feel them at all. Nobody should have to see a family member die in their arms. Especially their own son...

“Well now.” Tobi watched as the blood dripped from his sword, forming a small puddle on the ground. “Like father, like son. Ultimately useless, but an effective pawn.”

I looked up at the monster slowly, feeling everything inside me rattle with anger.

“Nelly...” I said slowly, gently lifting Jayden's head. She looked up and sniffed, reluctantly slipping her hands under his hair. I pushed myself onto my feet, and I felt the whole world spin. I felt sick and weak, but none of that mattered. All I cared about was revenge.

“You... You monster...” I began to walk towards Tobi, my feet pounding hard against the metal floor.

“Toby, don't!”

“Get back!”

“It's too dangerous!”

My friends called after me.

“Oh, boohoo.” Tobi laughed. “What're you going to do?”

I moved faster, each step fuelled by rage.

The fingers of my right hand curled up into a fist, and I swung round as hard as I could. The punch crashed into the side of Tobi's head, and I heard a cracking sound. Tobi was thrown sideways, dropping his blade. It wasn't my fingers that had cracked.

He cushioned his fall and rolled over his shoulder, flexing his neck muscles as he stood up. “So, you want to try this again? Fine.”

“YYYAAAH!” I screamed, lunging for him again. His knee connected with my stomach, but I used my momentum to take him down with me. I landed on top of him, but he rolled us over so the roles were switched. Tobi punched my chest, and I grabbed his arm. With a strong push with my free hand, I knocked him off onto his back. He staggered to his feet, where I sunk my nails into his neck and slammed him into a metal wall.

“You can't win!” He laughed, as I repeatedly rammed my knee into his stomach as he was pinned against the steel. I smashed my left fist over and over into his face, before letting go of his neck. Tobi fell down tot he floor, and I crashed the back of my foot into the side of his head.

“You bastard!” I cried, forcefully slamming my foot into his stomach. He managed to grab hold of my foot, and he flipped me over onto my back, where I hit the ground hard.
