As Raine's motorcycle approached the correct street, she made a sharp turn into a pathway that was paved into the grass. Thank goodness that the traffic was abnormally low or else we would've attracted a lot more attention than we did.

The more we proceeded onward, the more narrow the pathway became. After about two minutes of driving down the pathway, Raine flipped over her bike and landed in a crouching position on the floor. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. She walked over to a tree, and began feeling around their trunks. How could she not remember which one it was?

As Raine's head perked up through her helmet, she pushed a piece of one of the tree trunks in, and suddenly the forest scenery in the background began to scatter. Like an earthquake, the ground shook with an extreme force as another pathway emerged from the open space in the scenery. Raine shot me a thumbs up as she hopped back onto her motorcycle. Through the doors an actual road appeared, and as we proceeded onward the door-like silhouettes shut and locked behind us. Glancing over my shoulder, I saw KL's head leaning against her seatbelt. The corners of my lips pulled up into a smile, and suddenly I felt disgusted with myself. I can't grow feelings for this girl, I don't have time for things like this. Angrily, I shook my head and glared at the road ahead of me.

We proceeded down the road for about fifteen minutes until a beige colored building could be seen. Pulling around the side of the building, we pulled up into the multi-car garage attached to the backside of the building. Raine slowed her motorcycle down and pulled up into an empty spot where a variety of other bikes sat. I pulled up the beat up Explorer next to a black Hummer that sat there unattended, beckoning me to take it out for a nice long drive. Yet at the same time, exhaustion had begun to creep over me and I was yearning to crawl up into my bed and get some sleep.

Pulling the key out of the ignition, the purr of the car began to wind down to a complete stop. As I looked over my shoulder and to the right of me, I realized that KL had not even budged. Poor thing, she must be so tired from everything that has been happening. As I got out of the car, I walked over to the passenger side and unbuckled her seatbelt. Slipping one hand behind her back and the other underneath her legs, I scooped her up and out of the car while using my backside to shut the door. Walking through the empty lot, Raine glared over at me, her helmet being held to her side.

" Doesn't she have legs?" Raine commented from afar, motioning her head to KL.

I snickered, " Let's not start already. We just got home," I said while trying to balance KL's head on my shoulder. It was actually a lot heavier than it looked.

"Just saying," she snickered as she turned around and flipped her long, beach blonde hair.

Grumbling beneath my breath, I carried KL down the parking lot until I caught up with Raine. KL began to wiggle within my grip. Suddenly her eyes began to open and she let out a light scream.

I spoke as I set her down, " Hey, hey, hey it's just me. You were in a deep sleep so to not wake you, I carried you. Here, you're on level ground now."

She rubbed her eyes and then cracked them open, " Why are we in a parking lot?"
