"I can't understand how a single individual can manipulate the Central Government's data on a whim." Shifty voiced her doubts.
"Well the gaps, alongside her very clear stability, allow us to assume she was definitely taking some kind of jobs off the record. There's no way she'd be able to go weeks without working, while Fragile was, to keep herself afloat." The Commander replied.
"I'll continue to investigate seeing how much this means to you—"
"Don't dig too deep. Last thing I want is for you to catch unwanted attention." He warned.
With a warm smile, she nodded. "Don't worry, I'll be careful. Now that you're in a multitude of safe hands, I've got time."
She cut the call, leaving the Commander to lean his head back and scowl.
Except he was met with Rapi's skeptic leer down at him.
"What's up?"
She hesitated, but decided to ask. "Am I... authorized to know?"
The Commander shrugged. "Something I got wrapped up in with Moran awhile back— how we know each other. Didn't think it'd linger into such severity."
Rapi watched him worriedly gaze down at his wrist and squinted her eyes.
"She'll be fine. She's stationed in the military's headquarters with capable personnel." She stated with a hint of sass.
The Commander grimaced and shook his head. "I can't trust that'll stop someone this capable."
Rapi's gaze softened seeing genuine concern on his face for Shifty's wellbeing, cursing herself for letting her jealousy get the better of her.
"We need to move on. This building isn't anything to marvel at and we need more answers regarding the Harmony Cube." He kicked off the wall with a frown.
"I can guide you."
The three looked up to see the Pilgrim they'd encountered, pacing towards them having recovered from her previous predicament. "Know a way. But small group... Please."
"Eh? Eh~?" The Commander nudged Nihilister and smirked, earning a pop to his shoulder.
As the two paced over to the Pilgrim, Rapi's frustration with herself only grew stronger seeing— sensing that something between, what was once his greatest enemy, was cultivating even faster than her relationship with him had.
A bitter expression painted her face as she relayed the situation to the others, before following after the Pilgrim.

"Are you the one behind the crystals?" Rapi questioned.
"No." The Pilgrim Rapi dubbed, Grave, replied with disinterest.
"Then what are you doing here?"
She let out a short, hoarse sigh. "Long story. Old story, faded. Write again."
