"Hey

"Hey." The Commander called out.

Behemoth turned her attention from Grave, whom she had constricted against the crystal walls by one of her clamp arms, to the stout voice down the corridor of her makeshift throne room.

"You... the man." Behemoth seemed momentarily amused by his presence, since he looked all alone.

She knew that wasn't the case. His armaments alone was a testament to his strength and intellect. She knew better than to underestimate the one thing capable of severing a Heretic from the Queen.

"You control these crystals, don't you?" The Commander asked bluntly.

Her expression lingered on amusement, before intrigue settled in.

"Ah, a curious one, you are. Indeed I do, human." She replied.

"How can I do that?"

Shock took over. Behemoth even heard similar sentiments coming from gasps and hacks of surprise from down the crystalline corridor.

"You... want to take control of the crystals? Haven't you been destroying them?" She questioned, her words laced with disbelief.

"I'm not exactly the biggest fan of authority. My orders mean nothing to me above my own pursuits. And that's strength."

Behemoth stared in faint awe at his resolve, but more importantly, his defiance of the very place he worked for. A welcome surprise, but one she wouldn't let last.

"As much as your inquiry intrigues me, there's no use telling a corpse." She let out a soft giggle, before disappearing.

What she felt was the advantage, soon left her in a moment's notice.

She reappeared behind him, only to find Nihilister behind him sooner, her hands out stretched with a small light between her palms.

"Gotcha."

With a stream of fire far more potent than any flamethrower, Behemoth was sent barreling back down the corridor and into the ground with a sharp shriek.

She used her clamps to stop her tumbling, before looking up and seeing a barrage of missiles from Anis and Vesti.

Pelleted by the torrent of flames and explosions, she was forced to coil the rigid arms around her body, before thrusting them out with a grunt.

A gale of wind sent the projectiles scattering about, giving way to an advance— Rapi's advance.

She flew forward with her fist cocked back and slammed it straight into Behemoth's pelvis, lifting her legs off the ground and sending her crashing into the ceiling as she contort the haymaker into an uppercut.

"Focus fire on her stomach. Lay her out." The Commander snapped his fingers.

A volley of bullets, rockets, and fireballs began to crash into where she had landed, kicking up sparks, dirt and ash.
