The Commander and Nihilister leered down at the helpless figure of the mysterious Pilgrim trapped underneath the parasitic crystals in an effort to protect the coffin and box she wielded.
"Rough spot. Need a hand?"
"Humans are deceitful. They only know betrayal." The woman stoically replied.
"I wouldn't say only, but that's one of our fortes. However, can't say it's mine. I want to help." He urged, ignoring the impatient leer from Nihilister.
"I don't trust you." She muttered.
The Commander sighed and ruffled his hair. "Look, only way you'll ever start to is if I make an impression, so whether you like it or not, I'm gonna get you and your possessions out of there, okay?"
A silence washed over them as the Pilgrim weakly looked up at him from her confinement. With evident reluctance in her body language, she lowered her gaze in defeat.

As he playfully wiped his metallic hands, he looked up to see the Pilgrim stepping forward to eye him and his armor suspiciously.
Nihilister subconsciously took a faint step closer to him, prompting the Pilgrim to stop her approach but continue her observation.
"You... are human?"
"Yup. Sometimes, regrettably so." He replied, letting Avalon regress to his gauntlets and greaves in a puff of steam.
"You saved me." The Pilgrim's imposing figure and presence seemed to soften upon the statement. "Kindness. Enmity. I will repay."
The Commander chuckled, wiping his nose with a grin. "It'd be a big help if you knew the way out. Friends of mine are worried sick."
The Pilgrim tilted her head, pondering his request. She then pat her palm with her fist in realization.
She slowly pointed upward.
"What..." Nihilister mumbled in confusion.
"Up."
"Yeah, duh! But how?!" She barked.
The woman scratched her cheek, seemingly not willing to give anymore information than already provided— if you can call it that...
