"Weakling, I ought to strangle you!"
The Commander ducked the throw of his mug and hummed. His memory was getting worse and worse without rest, cause he completely forgot that Absolute was coming back to join the now non-existent fray.
Leaning aside from his own shoe being thrown at him, he sighed and turned to Leviathan, who was sitting at his desk with a wide grin.
"You went and made our upgrades obsolete— recruiting another of those wretched monsters while we were gone! Are you trying to make us look like fools?!"
He wasn't even able to assess the change the three made as he dodged the other shoe.
"You won't let me explain, will you?"
"Not a chance!"
Emma couldn't do much to stop her from throwing everything despite the arms around her waist. She gave the Commander an apologetic look, but even she was a bit peeved by his decision.
"Aww, your little minions didn't catch wind of our deal? Guess they're not that high on the ladder." Leviathan spun around in his chair, pushing off his desk and ending by his side.
"This brat...! I'll make use of this upgrade one way or another!" Eunhwa was dragged away before she could draw her weapon.
"Just send us a memo later, Commander. We do have questions after all." Emma urged.
Vesti's pout was interrupted when Emma came back and grabbed her too.
"Man, you're top tier at pissing people off." He muttered.
"Isn't she the best?" Behemoth cooed.
"We've gotta lay out ground rules. Behemoth I can hide. You're far too brash to go under the radar." He turned back to Leviathan and saw her reclined in his chair with a grin.
Her smugness left when he kicked the chair back over to the desk.
"Alright, alright. Didn't take you for a stick in the mud. What pathetic rules do you want to set?"
"Not much. Just stay put here, out of sight, and share anything you find out about me and Behemoth. Cool?"
Leviathan rose a brow. "That's it? What if I betray you?"
"Do you really want to test the limits of my forces? You'd die the second you gave me a funny look, dumbass."
Leviathan groaned and kicked her feet. "I don't take kindly to being underestimated, but lucky for you, your assumption is accurate."
"Uh huh. Anyway, Dark Matter. What the hell is it?"
"The most potent form of nanomachines you'll get your hands on. Liquid Metal. The extent of its capabilities, like I digressed, has yet to be recorded. That's why, you and Behemoth are the exact subject I need to record data on it and your Vapaus."
