Time away from the world. Away from reality and all its problems, it truly is the best thing ever. I spent two whole days locked in the house with Gray. Sex happened a lot.

A lot.

I feel him everywhere. My arms, my lips and in every step that I take. The man was all over me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, this is my first time having sex in my house, so I had to put a few surfaces to use.

I'm happy. Gray makes me happy.

A part of me thinks that maybe he is an apology from the universe for all the idiots I've encountered in the dating scene. I have never felt about a man the way that I feel for him.

I'm always excited to see him. I'm excited to see him tonight since I'll be spending the weekend at his place. A delicious shiver goes down my spine when I think of the time we'll spend together.

The sex is amazing. Breathtakingly out of this world, however, just spending time with him is what I love the most. That type of intimacy and companionship is what I've always longed for, and this man is delivering in bulk.

He takes such good care of me. He's so gentle and calm. Grayson King is such a calm person, and honestly, it's a trait that I admire.

Just as Rhys requested, I took Ben out. We got our hands and feet done. I'm so in love with my new nail design, a cute strawberry milk colour. Ben had his classic clear coat.

We had a beautiful spa day and had an amazing time together. The food and the company were just the best.

"Today has just been the best," Ben states. We're by the beach, sitting on a bench, enjoying our cups of gelato. Something sweet to end our wonderful afternoon.

I nod, watching an elderly couple take a stroll on the white sand. "Truly the best."

"Thank you for today."

"It's a pleasure, my love." All thanks to Rhys, who gave me his card to pay for everything. He is at work currently, but I can't wait for tonight. He will pop the question to Ben at the romantic dinner he has planned for them.

He hired a restaurant and also had a hand in getting the menu correct for their special night. We spoke on the phone last night, and he sounded a bit nervous but overall certain that he wants to do it.

We continue to people watch with the soothing sound of the surrounding ocean. My gaze finds the elderly couple, and the breeze tousles their grey hair. I wonder what it's like to have someone with you for so long. To be committed and devoted to each other for decades.

From afar, it looks adorable and admirable. I know there are bad times in relationships, but sticking till the end has to be worth every single scuffle you have. My mind plays out images of me and Gray being together for so long.

I have always been a person who never saw herself getting married. Granted, because of the life that I had growing up. The couples who fostered me were not lovey-dovey, given that they had houses full of kids. Marriage and being someone's forever is still a big deal for me, but I wouldn't mind being with Gray for the rest of my life. Even if we're tied to each other legally. I just want to be with him in any way that we can be together.

Ben and I eventually leave the beach since he has plans with his man. I chuckle at how he has no idea what Rhys has planned. Knowing how dramatic Bentley is, he might even faint when he sees Rhys on one knee.

"Bye, babe, enjoy your romantic date with Rhys."

"And you, my love, enjoy the weekend with your beau."
