MIA'S POV
Saturday afternoon, I was swinging in one of the swings in the playground. As I slowly swing and accompany to the movement of the christmas breeze, I wondered kun bakit tagos pa rin ang sakit ng nalaman ko na ex girlfriend pala ni Terrence si Julianna. I was broke and lost my hope na mamahalin ni Terrence ang isang tulad ko. Isang hamak na scholar lang ako, at walang kagandahan na maikukumpara kay Julianna. I looked at the clouds and began to see variety of shapes, like hearts and animals. Then I my sight turned black. Parang tinabunan ng mga kamay na may amoy ni Terrence. I removed the hands that covered my sight and looked at my back.
"Terrence?"
"Mia"
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"
He took a seat at the swing beside me.
"Wala, kasi parang mag-isa ka at ang lalim ng iniisip mo"
"Tss, wala namang iniisip"
"Twins"
"Twins ang?"
"Nagpa-ultrasound sina ate"
"So ibig sabihin? Dalawa agad ang anak nila?"
"Malamang."
"Dobleng aalagain"
"Oo nga eh"
Then silence began to seperate us. Parang wala ng topic ulit. Tahimik, you can only hear the bird's chirping sound. The swings rusty sound as they sway along the wind. He stood up and started to swing the swing I was sitting on.
"Mia?"
"Ano?"
"May tatanong lang sana ako"
"Ano?"
"Gusto mo ba kaming magkabalikan ni Julianna?"
"Wala naman sa akin yun eh, I mean sino ba ako para tumutol? I'm just your sister-in-law"
He stopped swinging and sat on the grass facing me.
"Para sayo, ganun lang ba talaga?"
"Anong ganon?"
"*sighs* Mia, hindi ko alam kung paano ko ito sasabihin. Sabihin mo man na para akong bakla o corny pero sana malaman mo na sa 8 months na tumitira kami sa bahay niyo ni Ate, higit pa sa sister-in-law ang turing ko sayo."
