This song fits perfectly with this whole story. I'm so glad I found it, and bonus, it's a pretty good song.

p.s. this song is going to get a bit steamy ( not really in my opinion bc other's have way more smutty scenes in their stories lol ) but don't worry y'all! i'll censor it, so if you feel uncomfortable, for any reason, you can skip it.

p.p.s. i feel like people are losing interest in this story, so sorry for updating a bit late.

"Okay, judges," Nick said, coming onto the stage, "thoughts on that performance?"

"You guys have got what it takes to win, and I can see it from far, far away," Jennifer commented, using her hands to express what she said. "This is an amazing experience and just seeing you grow, as artists, is absolutely incredible."

"You know what was great about the performance?" Simon asked, but didn't pause to let anyone answer in any form. "It was raw, subtle, and showed how much you guys want to be in the finals, which is really important."

"I agree with the both of them," Blake added in. "I don't know what else to say. I think America would be absolutely crazy if they didn't vote for you guys."

"Working with you to has been an amazing journey. You guys have a say in every single performance, and that's a quality of a true star, knowing what you want to represent on stage," Adam said. "Then, you guys perform with this passion and that's rare in this industry to showcase that much emotion. I'm rooting for you guys."

Nick nodded, and patted Jack and I on the back. "I'm with you Adam. If you're rooting for them too, remember to vote for them and get them to the finals."

After we stood on stage for a few more seconds as they played the background music, we both walked backstage, hand in hand with matching smiles.

"I hope we make it," I told him, nervously.

"Hey, hey, positive thoughts, Ellie," he reminded me, leaning in to give me a soft kiss.

"Enough with the PDA," a voice groaned from behind us.

I pulled away shyly to see that it was Johnson who had interrupted us. "Hey J," I greeted him softly, not knowing what else to say, because he had just caught us in a kiss. I felt guilty about it even after we talked about everything. I didn't want to flaunt our relationship in front of his face.

"Hey love birds," he said, surprisingly with a small smile on his face.

"So, what's up dude," Jack said, coming into the conversation.

"I actually need to talk to Jack for a bit," Johnson informed us, "so would you mind if I stole him away from you for a little bit." He looked at me, awaiting to my approval or disapproval.

I, of course, nodded my head indicating yes. They are best friends, and since Jack has been spending so much time with me to catch up, he wasn't hanging out with Johnson as much. I wouldn't want to take his best friend away from him too.

I sat down on one of the couches backstage, and started fiddling with my fingers, because there was nothing else to do. I searched the room for Ivy, since she was the only one I could talk to, besides to two boys who were doing their own thing right now. We haven't talked much ever since she came in my room to talk to me, promising that we would continue the conversation later, after Jack had interrupted us. I would like to say we haven't gotten the chance to do so, because Jack and I were always around each other, leaving no on room for anyone else. It was kind of true, but that wasn't the only reason. I feel like Ivy had been acting kind of off lately, and I didn't know what I did wrong for her to treat me like that.
