"You sure you want to be here?" Emma asked, holding out her gun as they walked inside the warehouse on the docks. Bae walked in after her, with Hope bringing up the rear. The place was full of fog and long metal pipes. This place is weird, give me a forest or the open water any day. Hope thought, keeping her hand on her sword.
He nodded. "I'm not gonna leave you alone in this place, either of you."
Emma glanced over her shoulder at them, "If something does go down with Tamara, I need to know you've got my back."
Bea sighed slightly at her, "Emma, if Tamara is hiding Regina here, in her evil lair by the docks, yeah, I got your back."
"Me too," Hope told her, pulling out her sword. There was a small metallic sound, like something dropping to the ground. The three quickly stepped closer to the large metal pipe. Come on, please don't be my future daughter-in-law. The clangling happened again, a bit louder. Emma held her arm back, keeping Hope and Bea behind her as she rushed forward with her gun out. They followed, and in front of them was David and Mary Margaret with his gun out at them as well.
Taking a deep breath and lowering her gun, Emma asked, "What the hell, guys?"
David handed her a walkie-talkie. "Here. So that doesn't happen again."
"You and Mary Margaret take the basement." Emma told her parents. "We'll search the main floor. Regina's gotta be here somewhere."
"This is why you have a plan before you charge in somewhere," Bea whispered to Hope as they walked.
She nodded, "Yeah, one phone call is all it takes, or an order yelled across the island. How often did you listen to those?" Hope joked with him.
"When it was important, we all listened to you guys. But come on, we were kids, what did you expect?" He smiled a bit as Emma walked off ahead a bit.
Hope laughed silently, "I'm so glad you're here. I miss being home with everyone. I'm glad to have a bit of home here with me now."
"Me too, mom. Out of all the places I've been, that might have been the closest I've ever felt to really being home since I was little. Before he ever went after the dagger."
A blaring scream echoed through the factory, followed by gunshots. "Go, I got this." Hope told them before disappearing. She appeared with Mary Margaret and David.
Someone she didn't see had run off, and David tried running after, but Mary Margaret stopped him. "David! We can't leave her. She'll die if we don't get her help." Strapped to the table was Regina. She looked passed out with things stuck to her arms and face.
Hope and Mary Margaret started to unbuckle her from the table. "I don't know how to heal this, I'm not sure what kind of damage electricity does. I gotta know exactly what I'm healing. I don't know how to help." Hope said softly as she checked Regina's pulse. "She's still alive. But she isn't doing good."
"We gotta get her to Mother Superior." David said, putting away his gun and grabbing his wakie-takie, "Emma, you gotta block the exits."
"Already on it. You guys all right?" Emma's voice asked over the speaker.
David nodded as they got Regina free. "Yeah, we're fine. We found Regina. But Mendell, he's coming your way."
Emma was silent for a moment before saying, "Greg Mendell?"
"David, now's not the time for a chat. Come on, help us carry her. You and Mary Margaret grab Regina, be careful with her. I'll make sure we don't run into anyone else on our way out."
Carefully, they got Regina into David's truck, lying down in the back while Hope sat with her. They drove back to Snowing's apartment, where Mother Superior was waiting with her wand. "Hurry now, get her inside." Once she was lying on the bed, she waved her wand over Regina slowly. The black leather cuff on her arm disappeared. "Now that the cuff is off, she's gonna be okay, given time and rest. Her magic will return."
