Hope sighed as she dusted around the shop. Wonderful. I get to play 'Work the Shop' while Papa and 'Lacey' hang out in the back chilling and I don't even want to know what. Eww, why did you think like that! She shook her head trying to shake out the thoughts that followed with it.

The door opened and Mary Margaret and David walked in. "Gold. Where is he?" He asked her.

"In the back with Lacey, careful, she puts him in a dark mood. If you're going to give him shit I best go with you." Hope told them as she walked in and leaned on the door frame while they walked inside. Rumple and Lacy were talking in back while they drank.

"Sorry to interrupt the party," David said clearly not sorry at all.

Rumple rolled his eyes as he responded, "Well, I clearly don't remember inviting you two. I'm busy, Hope is minding the shop today, gives her training, you can bother her with whatever you need."

"We need to talk to you. We need your help. Regina's missing and we think she might be in danger." Mary Margaret explained.

With a half smirk, Rumple replied, "Just the way I like her. Now if you'll excuse me."

"Papa, come on. We gotta help her. She is distantly your family now." Hope pointed out.

"I don't think so," David told Gold. "Whatever your feelings are about Regina, you still owe me a favor."

Rumple smiled tightly for a moment before turning to 'Lacey' "Lacey, if you could excuse us, I have some business to attend to."

"Make it quick." She told him taking his hand as she hopped off the table, taking her drink with her and going to the front of the shop to wait.

Hope sighed, "I'll go make sure she doesn't find anything she isn't supposed to." She said walking to the front of the shop where Lacey was looking around the shop.

"So, don't see you around the house much anymore," Lacey said bluntly.

Ever since Belle became Lacey Hope had been avoiding her and Rumple since they brought out the worst in each other. "Yeah, I've been pretty busy. Between working at Granny's, working here, and school-" which she hardly ever went to anymore since she did school for twenty-eight years. "-I don't have a lot of time to sit around the house doing nothing."

"Hey, watch your tone with me," Lacey said. "Come on, we're supposed to get along and stuff, be gal pals or whatever. Since I might be your stepmom one day."

"That would be something alright," Hope mumbled as she started to clean the shop. She hadn't had a mom in over a hundred years. Sometimes she thought of Belle being her new mom, and she liked the idea. But Hope didn't want Lacey as a stepmom. She and Rumple made each other into the worst versions of themselves.

'There has to be a cure for Lacey and bring back Belle. Maybe I'll go through the library at home again, see if something in the books can give us a clue for the cure. Lacey and Papa are going to destroy each other.' Hope thought.

"Dearie, come back here." Rumple called. Hope turned thinking he was talking about Lacey, but she was gone. Shit. She thought as she walked in the back of the shop.

"Yes, papa?" Hope asked him.

He pointed out the shop door, "You're good to head out for the day. And no need to hide what you can do around Lacey now. She overheard what I can do, that I have magic. So I'm going to stay with her and show her some things. Close the shop on your way out will you?"

"Yeah, whatever." Hope nodded, making a bit of a face. "Later," She mumbled as she walked out and closed up the shop. "Now what to do? Henry is still in school for the day, maybe I can go bother Bae."
