"And I will swallow my pride.

You're the one that I love and I'm saying goodbye....!!"

Liam's P.O.V.

Pulling the snap-back as low as possible in order to cover my face, I made the way out of Claire's flat. Quickly, after taking a seat in one of the corners of the waiting area where nobody could see me, I dialed Paddy's number and he answered on the second ring.

"Paddy, its urgent. Please come and..." Before I could tell him to pick me up from Claire's place, his harsh voice came from the other end of the line. "I'm already in the parking area. Come out from the back-door." And with that, he hung-up.

Wait what? How does he know I'm here? And why was he talking so rudely?

Sneakily, escaping through the back-door, I noticed Paddy walking towards the building. Jogging up to him, we both made the way towards the car and I, hastily, slipped in the back-seat, before the driver pulled the car out of the parking lot.

The first thing I did was, call Alya, without giving any second thoughts about it. I knew, if I'd given a thought over it, I would not able to gather the courage to call her.

I tried 3,4 times but Alya's phone said switched off and my call kept going in the voice-mail. "Fuck!" Cursing aloud, I threw my head backwards, worrying over what was gonna happen now.

"We'll go to Alya's place first." I told the driver while trying Alya's number again.

"She's at your place." Paddy's response was prompt while I was caught off-guard by his sudden, rude behavior for the second time.

What is wrong with him?

"What's with that tone?" I asked in a low voice. "Nothing." He answered, without even looking at me. "Couldn't get enough sleep last night." He said, staring out of the window while the driver seemed confused too.

"But you left the party early and then you...." And I stopped in the middle of my sentence.

Shit! Was Paddy with Alya when she came to Claire's place? Of course! Who else could it be? Alya didn't even know the way to Claire's flat.

Clearing my throat, I spoke again, "Is she okay?"

The second those words left my mouth, Paddy, promptly, turned around and met my gaze. "What do you think, huh?" He passed me a glare and I guess, it was the first time I saw him that angry.

"I... I was... just... I...." and I felt even more scared when the thought of losing Alya, forever, crossed my mind.

"Save it up for someone to whom you owe an explanation." He huffed and looked away. "Poor girl!" He remarked in a low voice but I over-heard.

Fuck! It means that all this has gone too far this time. God, please help me one last time. I swear I won't let this happen again. Just... Please!

Rubbing the palm of my hands against each other, I kept biting my lips out of nervousness. Every passing second was killing me inside and it felt as if I would choke up anytime then. Finally, the car stopped outside my house and quickly, stepping out, I made my way inside. Looking around the lobby and the guest-room, I took two stairs at once and literally ran towards my room.

The second, I opened the door of my room, my heart dropped. Alya was zipping her hand-bag, while the almirah, where her clothes used to hang, was empty. All of her stuff was gone and I was finding it too hard to say a word, let alone explain my side to her.
