"They say that I cannot last a day in the Real World...
I tell them you wouldn't survive one night in Mine....!!"
Liam's P.O.V.
"I'm so happy for you two." Mom spoke and had started to get teary-eyed, taking Alya in her embrace who in turn had a wide smile plastered across her face. I was then standing across the kitchen counter, watching my two favorite women getting emotional like always.
"Come here." Mom called for me, extending her left arm in my direction and I hastily made the way towards her. Side-hugging mom from the other side, I passed a big smile to both the ladies.
"Too happy." Mom choked on her words this time, sniffing lightly and Alya's eyes were brimming with tears then. Hiding her face in mom's neck, she whispered "I love you so much!" whilst I wrapped my arms around both of them.
"I love you both so much." I spoke aloud, squeezing them in my tight embrace. Both of them let out a soft chuckle and I kissed mom on her head before pulling back a minute later.
"This is the best decision that this idiot has taken in so long." Mom ruffled my hair with her free hand affectionately while Alya chuckled in response. Grinning sheepishly at them, I ran the fingers of my free hand through my quiff and spoke, "Back to making teams, are we?" I teased both of them.
"For your kind information---" Alya started off, wrapping her right arm around mom's shoulders and passed me a proud look before continuing, "---she never left my team." And with that, she smiled boastfully at me while mom started giggling.
Raising my hands in the air defensively, I stepped away from them. "Not gonna argue on that." And with that, Alya and I let out a soft laugh while mom pulled my left ear. "And dare you hurt my girl again." Her tone hinted sarcasm and I rested my hand over hers before speaking up, "I won't. I promise." I said, letting out a laugh and with that, mom let go off my ear; both of them were chuckling like kids by then.
I am so elated to see that mom still loves Alya like she always has and that, she has accepted her back into my life, wholeheartedly. I guess she knows and believes the fact that no one else but Alya, and only Alya can change me into a better person and that, only she can make me the happiest man on the face of this earth.
"Now off you go." Mom's voice brought me back into the real world. "I've got a hell lot of cooking to do." She finished, getting back to whatever she was doing before we told her that Alya and I were back together.
"I'll help you, auntie." Alya spoke, following mom across the kitchen while I kept standing at the same place. "No no. I'll manage, sunshine." Mom said, shaking her head and then glanced at me before continuing, "You two go and get some rest."
Before Alya could say something, mom spoke up again. "I don't wanna hear anything now." She was trying her best to sound stern. "Go go go. Scoot!" She said, turning her back towards Alya and a soft chuckle escaped from my mouth.
Turning around, Alya nodded her head towards mom while I passed her a confused look in return. "Help me, Liam." She spoke aloud and I shrugged casually, not knowing what to say.
"The kitchen area isn't under my control." I said, raising my hands in the air as a gesture of giving up while Alya rolled her eyes in return, letting out a defeated sigh.
"Who all are coming by the way?" I asked mom while Alya made her way towards me. "A few friends of mine." Mom said and started chopping the carrots. "You both can join in too if you want." She said, looking up from the counter and I shook my head in return.
