"That's what people do who love you.

They put their arms around you and love you when you are not so lovable."

Alya's P.O.V.

We kept standing at the same spot, wrapped in each other's embrace near the window of Liam's room. Every time Liam hugged me, I felt safe and loved, as I had never felt before in my life. For me, that feeling was too strange, in a good way of course, and I had been growing addicted to it. I could just stay in his arms forever.

Trust me; Liam gives the world's best hugs.

I loved the way he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. The way he caressed my back, moving his hands in circular motions which sent a sense of relief through my body making me feel at ease and untroubled. The way he tightened his grip, breathing heavily against my neck that made me want him in a more than friend kind of way. The way his lips finally met the skin of my shoulders when he softly kissed me there, making me go weak on my knees.

Every part of the hug coming from Liam made me feel so damn contended that I could happily spend my whole life in his arms, without any regrets.

"We should get back to work and join the others," I spoke reluctantly and mentally hoped that he would say no.

Shaking his head in response, he tightened his grip around me and squeezed my body in his arms lovingly, placing a soft kiss on the side of my head. "I love it here." He spoke in a whispering voice and the corner of my lips lifted to form a small smile.

After a few more minutes of comfortable silence between us, the ringtone of Liam's phone fell in my ears, catching my attention. However, Liam then seemed unfazed by the sound of his phone ringing.

"Liam, your phone," I told him, in case he was not paying attention to his surroundings. Giving an indifferent shrug, he kept standing in the same position and I let out a small chuckle in response to his childish antics.

I then used all my strength to pull back from the embrace but he did not move back even an inch. The phone stopped ringing and in the next moment, it started ringing again while Liam continued acting the same way. Giggling, I tried to push him away again and he finally loosened his grip just enough to see my face.

"What?" He asked with furrowed brows and I passed him an amused look. He's too much.

"Your phone is ringing, Liam," I spoke in between my chuckle and tapped on his chest playfully.

"That's what phones are supposed to do, baby." He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and I could not help but laugh at his dorky come back. He was impossible to beat when it came to stupidity. However, that was one of the reasons that made him, altogether, more adorable. He was just too cute to resist.
