"She worries because she cares."

Alya's P.O.V.

The moment I stepped out of the studio building, I noticed Liam standing in the parking lot and he then seemed busy on his phone, his back turned in my direction at that point in time.

He must be talking to his mom because he usually calls her up around this time only.

At first, I thought of scaring him but then, dropped the idea when I recalled the last time, I tried to do the same and almost got punched in the face. Phew! That was close.

Reminiscing about that hilariously scariest moment of my life, a small smile spread across my face as I made my way in the direction where Liam was standing then. I had walked halfway only when, all of a sudden, he turned around, still talking over the phone and the moment our eyes met, I passed a small smile, waving at him.

For the first few seconds, he seemed a little surprised to see me there and then, he blinked his eyes a few times as if coming back into the real world; finally, the corner of his lips curved at the edges to form a small smile. In the next moment, he put his index finger at me, gesturing me to wait a minute and I passed him an understanding smile, nodding my head in return.

"Of course, I'm here only." He spoke into the phone and glanced at me, passing me a cute smile. "Yeah, okay. Cool." With that, he brought the phone down, locking it and met my eyes again. "You were still here?" He inquired, sounding and looking surprised as he slipped his phone into the pocket of his jeans.

"Yeah, I was with Lux and Louise," I told him, passing him a small smile, which he returned. "Why are you still here?" I inquired, passing him a confused look.

Letting out an irritated sigh, he glimpsed the main gate of the building behind me and met my gaze again. "Actually, I was waiting for Andy." He started off, shaking his head in disappointment and peeked at his watch before continuing, "That idiot was supposed to pick me up tonight." He sounded a bit restless then. "And of course, he forgot about that." His comment made me giggle.

I had heard a lot about Andy every time Liam used to narrate stories of his childhood and growing-up years but I never got the chance to meet Andy or talk to him in person. However, from the way Liam used to talk so highly about him, they seemed very close to each other.

"I can give you a ride back if you want?" I suggested, pointing in the direction of my car. Smiling nervously at me, he went quiet for a few seconds and his strange behaviour was confusing me then. "Soooo?" I spoke in a low voice, stretching the word and narrowed my eyes, expecting a reply from him while he passed me a tight-lipped smile in return.

"Actually--" He started off, running his fingers through his quiff and glanced at the gate again before continuing, "Andy is on his way only... probably a turn away by now... and us... we had, like, plans for tonight----"

"Oh, okay. Okay." I said, interrupting him in the middle of his sentence and passed him a small smile. "That's cool."

"Some party came up and we just..." He suddenly stopped talking when the roaring sound of a car's engine fell in our ears, catching our attention. "He's here." He said, motioning his eyes in the direction of the gate.

On turning around, I noticed a man who seemed around our age, step out of the black Range Rover and finally, he made his way in our direction. He looked tall, like wow tall, and had a sturdy, muscular physique. He was fair coloured, just like Liam, and had long, blonde hair that almost touched his shoulders. He looks hot, to be honest!

"Hey bro," Andy spoke in a heavy, accented voice.

"Hey, man." Liam greeted him with a nod of his head and both of them held each other's right hand, shaking it and gave a light pat on each other's back with their free hands.
