"Many things make me cry like movies and books and goodbyes.
I never thought you would be one of them."
Liam's P.O.V.
The next morning I woke up around seven and my head was hurting like hell because of the lack of sleep from last night. The negative thoughts kept messing up my mind throughout the night and if it were possible, I would have punched the shit out of that Shahid douche. It was because of him that I was so rude towards my girl the other night. Moreover, I even slept in a separate room even though we were in the same house.
In the hopes of relaxing my mind a bit, I did a few exercises but it didn't help at all. Finally giving up, I headed for Alya's room where all my clothes were and quietly turned the doorknob open, only to find Alya missing from the bed. Suddenly, the sound of the utensils clattering in the kitchen fell in my ears and I checked the time on my phone.
It's just 8 am and Alya is already awake? This is unusual.
Grabbing fresh clothes from the almirah, I quickly freshened up and got ready to leave for the studio for my recording. The moment I stepped into the lobby, Alya's hurried voice fell in my ears, bringing my steps to a halt and I turned around to face her. I noticed dark circles under her eyes and her eyes seemed a bit swollen. Did she, too, not sleep the last night?
"Breakfast's ready." She informed me in a tender voice, passing me a meek smile.
To be honest, I was still mad because of that Shahid incident, which took place the other night, and the fact that he had proposed my Alya, was making me go even crazier. I needed some time to clear off my mind from all that shit.
"I'm getting late. I'll eat in the studio only." I told her.
As I was about to turn around, she spoke up again. "Wait, I'll quickly pack some of it for you then." She said, making her way towards the dining table.
"I said, I'll have something in the studio." My voice came out a bit too stern and her expressions dropped instantly.
Placing the plate back on the table, she nodded her head in return and passed me a sad smile. "Okay." She said and walked towards me as she continued talking, "Baby, today I have---"
"I'm already running late," I said, interrupting her in the middle of her sentence. "Will talk in the evening." and with that, I turned around, walking across the lobby and finally stepped out of the door.
I had an awful day at the studio as well because I could not focus on the chords and scales at all. I was going out of tune now and then, and my attitude was too cranky. It all got worse when my phone rang 3-4 times and Alya's name flashed on the screen. I cut the call every time and she finally messaged me, which I didn't bother to open.
