"How did it even happen? Especially, Liam of all the boys, huh?" Simon teased Alya and let out a soft chuckle before continuing, "I'm still trying to wrap my head around that, you know." His tone hinted at sarcasm and the three of us shared a peal of laughter.
Simon's comment brought back the humorous memory of the day when I had created a whole damn scene after I discovered about Alya, joining us for the BRITS performance, and I could not help but feel stupid in myself.
I mean just look at me now. I'm the same person who didn't even want to meet her, let alone want her to perform with us. And today, I've fallen so passionately for this girl that I can't even go a minute without thinking about her. She has changed my life for good!
Taking Alya's hand in mine, I gave it a tender squeeze and spoke up, "I don't know, maybe it was meant to be." with that, I placed a soft kiss on her knuckles and she blushed in response while Simon smiled at us.
It was the first time in the last four years that Simon had shown any interest in my love life and he, genuinely, seemed into it. However, it was not even a bit surprising for me because there's something about Alya that, eventually, everybody tended to grow fond of her and cared about her.
"So love--" Simon started off, glancing at Alya and passed her a small smile before continuing, --"Did you think about what you want to do next? I mean, did you sign any other contract?" He questioned and Alya shook her head in return.
"I want to stick with what I'm already doing." She answered in a sweet voice and let out a nervous chuckle. Glimpsing me for a second, she looked back at Simon and spoke again. "I've no interest in acting or modelling. I'm happy doing my charity shows."
My heart swelled with pride and I could not help but marvel at my girl's beautiful heart, which was full of so much pure love. She never thought about making loads of money or profits.
"Well, that's the most inspiring thing about you, sweetheart!" Simon remarked, passing a smile to Alya. "We don't get to see selfless people like you these days."
His words brought a huge smile to my face and I couldn't be prouder of my choice when it came to finding a soulmate. My girl is the epitome of nobility. I fondly squeezed Alya's hand in mine and she glanced at me, passing me a cute smile in return. This girl has no idea how fucking amazing she is!
"So, I was wondering if you still wanted to work with us... apart from your commitments, of course?" Simon spoke again and both of us refocused our attention on him as he continued talking. "I'll even try to arrange a few charity performances if you want."
