"Life is tough, my darling, but so are you...!!"

Liam's P.O.V.

It had been three days and Alya was still too distant. I mean, she used to be right next to me but then, she really wasn't; she always seemed to be in her own world as if she was thinking something all the time. And I badly wanted to know what was going on inside her head.

She only used to give short replies to whatever I asked, giving away the impression that she didn't want to talk about anything, let alone have a discussion. On top of that, whenever I suggested going for a drive or something, she used to give me the same excuse, saying that her stomach was aching because of her period and I couldn't argue on that even though I knew she was lying.

I could tell that she was still somewhere scared to face the fans and papz and I understood that she needed some time but I also wanted her to realize that I was trying my best to be there for her, that I could do anything to see her smile again.

That smile, which comes straight from her heart and reaches her eyes. I miss that adorable smile and my happy princess!

"Baby?" Alya's tender voice fell in my ears. Blinking my eyes, I looked to my right and passed her a confused look since I'd zoned out. "Yeah?"

"Why aren't you answering your phone?" She questioned and suddenly, the ringtone of my phone fell into my ears that I didn't hear until then since I was too engrossed in my thoughts.

"Oh right." I mumbled, leaning to my left and picked up the phone from the side table before I noticed 'Paul' flashing on the screen. Whilst I accepted the call, Alya lowered the volume of the television but she kept laying in the same position; the side of her head was resting against my chest while her right arm draped around my waist.

Taking it as a cue, I continued talking over the phone, not caring to get up from the bed. Paul reminded me that I had to be at the studio the same evening around five and that, all the boys were supposed to meet there. Telling him that I'd be there on time, we both hung up.

Locking my phone, I looked down at Alya who was then already watching me. "Work?" She asked and I nodded my head in return, passing her a tight-lipped smile.

"Some shitty meeting I'm guessing," I told her, blowing the air through my nose while Alya simply nodded at me before focusing her attention back on the television.

"Princess, I was thinking--" I started off and Alya looked up at me again before I continued, --"how about you accompany me to the studio and then after I'm done, we could go out for dinner?" I asked, passing her an excited smile.

Shaking her head, she rested her head on my chest again. "My stomach is---"

"Paining and I won't be able to sit for too long blah blah blah." I completed the sentence for her, rolling my eyes and let out a heavy sigh. All of my excitement went down the drain in just a matter of few seconds.

"You've been using the same excuse from the past three days," I said, sitting up straighter on the bed, pulling Alya along with me. "And I know you're lying. You lied every single time." I spoke in a serious tone while she didn't even care to look at me.

"No, I didn't." She muttered against my chest, still refusing to meet my gaze, which was making me restless.

"Baby, look I'll be there when we go out. Nobody's gonna eat you or something, you know." I said, squeezing the skin of her arm tenderly and she sighed. "You can't spend the rest of your life like this... hiding away from the people--" I spoke in a loving voice, cupping her right cheek, forcing her to look at me and continued --"and there's no need to sit back and hide in the first place." I finished, staring right into her eyes.
