Fabian's POV
I needed to figure this out, not only for Patricia, but for everybody, this stupid note needed to be translated. He had quite a lot of it now but there was just one confusing little symbol that was slightly smudged, Rufus must have leaned on it before it dried, meaning that the symbol looked a lot like two different ones i could find, the problem was that they both made sense in the note, but if i picked the wrong one then it made the note say something completely different. It was the last symbol left, just this one!
"Hey fabes, need some help?" Joy asked as she entered the front room to where i was leant over the note.
"Which one of these two symbols do you think the one on the note is?" i asked her, maybe Joy would notice something I wouldnt.
"The one on the left." she said confidently.
"how do you know?"
"You can see the dot is in a different place and thicker" she pointed out the obvious difference to me. how did i miss it? It must be the pressure.
"Thanks Joy, your a genius!" I said standing up and quickly, and innocently kissing her check, leaving her blushing a little. "Lets go get the others, i know what the note says now!"
We rounded everyone up into mine and Eddie's room.
"I know what the note says." i told them, they were on the edge of their seats. "okay, it says, My dearest Patricia, the..."
