Making bargains

Patricia's POV

I woke up to a blurry room, my eyes almost welded together with tears, i was still in Eddie's arms and he was still asleep, snoring lightly, in a cute way. He had been so great last night, whispering reassuring words in my ears as he let me cry it out on his shirt, in fact, Eddie was always great with me, he just knew me so well.

I was still scared though and it didnt help that Eddie didnt know Rufus, or how he affected me, and he only knows briefly what he did to me. I needed to talk to the Zeno expert, Jerome.

Jerome knew Rufus, very well considering him being evil, and Jerome was the only person i felt i could trust to tell about Rufus and what had happened. The truth was, i lied to Eddie, Rufus did rape me, once, then i escaped. He told me he loved me, he even told Jerome he did, but Rufus had a weird way of showing love, it wasnt love at all, it was obsession.

"Morning Beautiful." Eddie addressed me grouchily as he woke up.

"More like afternoon." I said back to him, we both looked at the clock 12:30pm we had missed breakfast, just in time for lunch.

"Oh God, how long have you been awake?" he asked sitting up as I did, he let go of his grip on me and i did the same.

"Not long, five or ten minutes."

"Oh good." He shifted awkwardly to me. "You okay today?"

"Yeah, but I need to tell Jerome everything." i told him avoiding his gaze.

"okay, i understand, he's like a brother to you blah blah blah." he gave me a quick kiss on my check and got up off the bed. "Can we have lunch first?"

"Of course."

We went to lunch in the clothes we slept in, Eddies shirt still wet with tears, no one in sibuna said a word, although others had some questions.

"For the last time Mara, im fine, i had a nightmare and stayed with Eddie last night." i told mara as she looked at me accusingly. She wasnt going to let this go.

Jerome's POV (A/N i thought i would look at the story through another point of view to eddie and patricia, hope you don't mind.)

Patricia's story didnt make any sense, she never had nightmares, except from just after Rufus raped her, she had them a lot then, this had Rufus written all over it, the scared look on Trixie's face said it all, Rufus Zeno was back in her mind for whatever reason, and she wanted him out.

"Just leave it Mara." I told my girlfriend, turning to face her. "please just drop it."

"okay." Mara said in return, though i knew she would stop talking about it, she would never forget, now i wanted to know what was up.

After lunch Eddie and Patricia changed and went to Eddie's room with Fabian, Alfie, Joy, Nina and Amber, now was my chance, i needed to know what was wrong with the girl i think of as a sister. I knocked on the door and Fabian let me in, Patricia looked upset. "You need to tell me whats going to right now Patricia Williamson."

Then she told me.

"Its okay Trixie, i wont let him hurt you, none of us will." everyone nodded in agreement.

"Thanks Jerome." she said smiling weekly.

"Okay, so any breakthrough on the symbols Fabian?" Eddie asked.

"Not really, This is the symbol for death." he said pointing to a morbid looking symbol on the page "but its after this symbol" he pointed to the symbol before it "which means to have been or to soon be, im not quite sure which yet."

"Oh and we think that this weird looking symbol..." Nina said pointing to the symbol near the end "...means forever or eternal, we are guessing Rufus means eternal because of the cup and everything." Nina finised with a sigh. "so really we know nothing."

"Want me to help?" Joy asked.

"Yeah that would be great, three heads are better than two." Fabian replied, although i dont think Nina agreed, Fabian would be in trouble later. Thats when i realised something, the whole house was there, except Mara.

"You in Jerome?" Alfie asked.

"I'm in, on one condition. Mara's in two." I bargained, i didnt really want Mara involved with this, but it was unfair for her to be the only one left out.

"you can go tell her everything now." amber told me with a smile.

"Good." Mara was in now, the whole house would be in on the secrets of Anubis house. I hope Patricia's okay, I have only once ever seen her this broken, at least she had Eddie.

That night, I went with Eddie, Patricia and Nina to tell Mara everything, she wanted in, like i knew she would.
