Eddie's POV

"I can see the head." the kind nurse told us. "You need to keep pushing Patricia." She groaned in response, squeezing tighter on my hand, her face was bright red with concentration, right at this very second our baby was being pushed out of her. It was a very weird thought!

Finally the nurse took hold of our daughter, taking her over to be cleaned up. I was a dad! I kissed Patricia's sweaty forehead. "im so proud of you Yacker." i whispered into her ear as she got her breath back.

The nurse cleaned her up and brought her over, placing the pink little thing into Patricia's arms. "Here is your daughter Miss Williamson." she said moving away from us. "We will give you a minute." the nurses and doctor left the room leaving Patricia holding our baby girl.

Patricia's POV

She was beautiful and held still in my arms. Eddie sat on the edge of the hospital bed with his arm around me, looking deeply into our daughter's eyes, just like I was. They were mesmerising, emerald green in colour and glowing with deep confusion as she held our stare. her dark pupil flittering from my eyes to her father's. Her cute little button nose held still and sat perfectly on her tiny little face, her pale, unwrinkled skin shone with youth, her cheekbones held a light rose glow with health. Her lips were perfectly formed and smooth, running perfectly into her skin, jutted out into a small, inevitable pout, the same pink tint that held in her cheeks. She was tiny, her petite little fingers gripped one of mine, they looked silky smooth and dangerously fragile, like she could snap in two at any second. She was tiny in my arms, and perfect in every way.

Eddie's POV

A perfect little girl in the love of my life's arms. She had gorgeous green eyes, the same colour as mine. She looked curiously between Patricia and I, a look of pure beauty on her little face. She had a light pink flush of colour in her cheeks and lips of the same tone that flourished smoothly into her skin. She was tiny in Yacker's arms, and perfect in every way.

The nurse came back into the room as Patricia handed me our little girl to hold. She looked breakable, i was almost to scared to touch her.

"Have you thought of a name?" she asked walking over to some technical looking machine.

"We decided on a name a couple of weeks ago." Patricia told her. "I think it will suit her." she said turning to me.

"Defiantly!" i responded, watching the little ball of pink in my arms move sweetly.

"What is it?" the nurse asked curiously.

"We are gunna call her Cara-Jane." patricia announced proudly.

"Cara-Jane, that will suit her perfectly." the nurse replied. The idea for the name came to us when we couldn't decide between Cara (which i was arguing for) and Jane (Which Patricia wanted to call her.) we ended up just shouting our preferred name at each other until Joy came in and said that they sounded good together, thank God for Joy and her amazing ears! Cara-Jane was a perfect name for our daughter, and we could call her CJ for short. She was just altogether perfect!
