Siren story

A/N – okay so I seem to be getting some very frantic messages off people saying that they don’t like Aqua and that they don’t want Peddie to break up and most of all that they don’t want Aqua and Eddie to ‘get together’ I can assure you that Aqua and Eddie do not ‘get together’ so please stop implying that they will, they are going to be good friends and that’s all, I wouldn’t break up peddie for all the money in the world. Then there is the matter that some people don’t like Aqua, I do. I think that Aqua is a very valuable piece for this story as she has so many secrets which you find out about soon, she was added to this story as I don’t like KT and she doesn’t fit into my story – especially now that Patricia is pregnant again – therefor I made up Aqua, she is not a bad person, you just need to understand her, so……this chapter has come far too early in the story for my liking but here is the next chapter which will make everything clear about Aqua, she isn’t a bad person so please be open minded, I really like her and how she fits in the story. Thanks for sharing your views. :D

Eddie’s POV

Sibuna meeting. Now.

That’s what I was told, It was only me, Patricia, Fabian and Alfie – the real Sibuna’s – we didn’t want to get the others into trouble again, Mara’s still shook up after her meeting with Anubis. We were here to talk about the new girl, something wasn’t right, Fabian and Alfie don’t just fight like that, thankfully they had made up now, not that they knew what they were fighting about anyways. We were in mine and Patricia’s bedroom, sat on the floor, mine and Patricia’s hand entwined, now this felt natural.

“I don’t like her, somethings off.” Patricia stated as Alfie came and joined us.

“I do like her, she doesn’t seem like a bad person.” Fabian replied.

“Yeah but something isn’t right.” Patricia responded. We all nodded in agreement.

“Why don’t we just ask her whats up?” Alfie suggested “she seems nice.”

“Alfie, that is so stup…” Patricia started

I cut in “…Brilliant.”

“No its not.” Patricia told me.

“yeah but like Alfie said, she seems nice, if there is something up she might just tell us, no need to sneak around or anything.” I explained.

“Okay but if it doesn’t work am I free to rip into her?”

“Who am I to say no.”

So that was our plan, talk to her.

We all walked across the hall to where Aqua was staying with Willow, thankfully Aqua was in there alone, unpacking, she was staying in my old bed, Willow in Fabian’s.

“Hey chick, can we talk to you.” Patricia said, storming in.

“Sure, but can someone with manners convey this message?” Aqua replied, I laughed slightly, this girl had nerve talking to Patricia like that, or a death wish. “Eddie?” She asked. I stepped forward slightly.

“So here is the thing, we have come across many weird things in our time at Anubis house and you may be the weirdest.” I started, where was I going with this? “We just wanted to know that you are 100% normal…” This was turning awkward.

“We don’t even know your surname.” Patricia stated, that was true, we didn’t.

“yeah Temper, what is your surname?” I asked.

“Zeno, Aquamarine Zeno.” Oh. Patricia ran out of the room. I followed her out and back into our room.

“You okay?” I asked, sitting next to her on our bed.

“No, I thought we had got rid of Zeno for good, but looks like his kid is now here to haunt me.”

“I don’t think it’s like that.” I said, we sat there for a while in silence, collecting thoughts.

Fabian’s POV

“What’s wrong with Patricia?” Aqua asked.

“Are you related to Rufus Zeno?” I answered with a question.

“he is my dad, why?”

“Well, CJ, is kinda your sister, your dad raped Patricia.” I explained, she seemed very upset by that, and left her room, walking up to the door of Patricia’s.

Eddie’s POV

There was a knock at the door, I looked at Patricia, asking her if she wanted visitors with just one look, she nodded so I left the bed and opened the door, a shocked and slightly tear stained Aqua was at our door, she walked in and sat on the floor in front of Patricia.

“Patricia I am so sorry about what my dad did to you, I really didn’t know, I’ve only met him once or twice, that was years ago.” Aqua explained, for some reason Patricia seemed okay with her.

“It’s fine, you didn’t know, how bout you tell us why you are here though?”

“Well, it’s just coincidence that I’m at this school and in this house, I just liked the look of the school, nothing more. But I’m not exactly your conventional teenager, if that’s what you want to know.” Aqua replied, we all looked at her for further information “Ever heard of a Siren?” She asked, what did that have to do with her?

“Yeah of course, they go nee noor nee noor and flash.” Alfie said, proud that he could answer.

“Not that type of Siren, ever read the story of them in Greek mythology?” Aqua replied. Oh, not that type of siren, then I had no idea what she was going on about, but I had a feeling Fabian did. I sat down next to Patricia on the bed while Fabian brought a chair to sit to the side of me, Alfie sat down on the floor next to Aqua.

“The Sirens where beautiful creatures, they had an enchanting power over sailors to bring them to shore with song, then made them go crazy with love for the siren and crash.” Fabian clarified. “I think it’s the only Greek myth with proof of reality.”

“Oh there real all right, they may have adapted though over the years.” Aqua said, not really to anyone. I was lost, Aqua could see that. “Sirens are real and have been around for centuries, its one if those genetic things, passed on down generations of females, my mother was one, therefore I am one. But we are not deadly anymore, we don’t crash ships and make people die and we have a hold on not just sailors but all males, and although not as strong, we also can control females too.” She explained, so she was a siren? Controlling us? “I never meant to control you, Siren’s in today’s society live normal lives, they don’t even use their powers, I hate mine, I wish I could never use them, but I’m only a siren in training, I can’t control my powers, so sometimes people do things they don’t want to do for me. I hate it and always make it right; I would never allow anything bad to happen. I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine, so where do we go from here?” I asked her.

“I will be careful, I usually don’t have a hold on people, it’s just cause I was new and I let my guard down a bit so I could get to know you, usually I have all my siren powers locked away, but it takes a lot of energy.”

I think we were going to be fine, I trusted her and I knew it wasn’t because of some hold she had on us, I think she was actually pretty cool, seemed like we were going to be good friends.
