Two-timer

A/N - hey readers. Just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who leaves such nice comments. They really do make my day and i love reading them. I try to reply to all of them so please keep commenting and VOTE! So i'm at a sleepover tonight so i can't upload therefore i am doing a quick short paragraph now to make up for it. Enjoy le paragraph (i kinda went french there, dont know why since im failing it atm.) enough babbling on...enjoy the story!!...

Patricia's POV

I sat down at the table for dinner in between Eddie and Jerome - who to my surprise wasn't sat next to Mara. Everyone said polite greetings and began to eat in silence. But i wasn't having it.

"How come your not sat next to Mara?" I asked Jerome, loud enough so that Mara could hear on the other side of the table.

"Because Jerome is a dirty lying pig and i don't want him any where near me." Mara answered before Jerome got the chance.

"All is well in Jara-ville then." I joked trying to break the obvious tension between them, i didn't even earn a giggle from Eddie. Mara gave me an evil stare across the table. "Don't do jokes?" I remarked at her, returning the stare, then she backed down. I may have softened since becoming a mother, but this was still my table, no one crosses me.

"What did you do now Jerome?" Joy asked from next to Mara.

"None of your business Joyless." He fired back. He obviously didn't enjoy this conversation.

"Jerome cheated on me." Mara stated, clear as day. Making everyone else choke on the food they were eating. Or in my case, do a spit take with orange squash.

"With who?" We all - well most of us anyway- asked in sync.

"You know that annoying peppy girl in Isis house, Willow?" We all nodded "Her." Jerome and willow, didn't see that one coming.

"She's cute." Alfie added.

"ALFIE!" Amber said, slapping Alfie's arm.

"Ouchie." He remarked.

"Does Willow know you cheated?" Eddie asked.

"She does now." Jerome said quietly. "You know i think i lost my appetite." He stood up and left the room.

No more Jerome and Mara. It was never meant to be. Unfortunately though, Eddie and I now couldn't share our news since not everyone was there. Poor Jerome, i bet he didn't mean to hurt either of them.

A/N - hope you liked it. I wanted to find a way to get the season 3 characters into the story, not quite in the say way as in the show though. Besides, i want Jerome and Joy together instead of Jerome and Mara, thats hopefully where the story is heading. xxx :D xxx
