Forget and focus

Patricia's POV

It was 6:50pm which meant Eddie would be here soon for our date, i still don't know why I said yes, maybe i wasn't quite listening or something, but maybe it was a good idea to try to get my mind off Rufus and the note, maybe i would forget them and have a good time, one can only hope. I hadn't really dressed up for our date, i wasn't in the mood, my makeup was the same as it was for school and so was my hair, i had changed into a black skirt and put a black t-shirt on with lace 3/4 length sleeves, it almost looked like i had worn a dress and put effort into my outfit, i hadn't. This note thing from Rufus was really getting to me, we knew exactly what was going on, but not how to stop it. That was all going out of my mind tonight, i was just going to forget about it and focus on my date with Eddie, he better not take me to a restaurant!

There was a knock on the door then Eddie let himself in like usual. "Hey, you ready?" he asked me as he came and sat down next to me on my bed and grabbed my hand. He wasn't very dressed up either which was very reassuring. He had a black t-shirt on with a red plaid shirt over that, dark blue jeans and red and white high tops, reminding me i had no shoes on, i grabbed my black heals a slipped them on quickly.

"Yep." I said standing up as he did. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see." He pulled me out of my room and down the stairs, then he took me to the venue for our date.
