"Jenna?"

Ugh, my head hurts.

"Come on, we need you to wake up, babe."

Shhhhh. Sleepy time now.

"Please wake up, Jen."

I guess I can nap later.

"What the fuck happened?" She sat up with a groan.
"Thank fucking god," Steve let out a sigh of relief before putting her headphones over her ears and pulling her into his arms, "We thought you were fully out."
"Well I'm not," She leaned against him, hugging his arms against her body, "This is why you should've let me drive. I may suck, but I've never crashed that badly. Ever."
"Sure," He let out a small chuckle, "Yeah, you're right about that one."
"So, where are we and what happened?" She looked around her to find them on the ground in the Upside Down in front of a giant, fleshy wall.
"We don't exactly know, but this wall isn't there in the Rightside Up."
"No shit, Harrington."
"The car's stuck, though. We can't get it out."
"I'll try to get it out," She started to stand up, but was immediately hit with a dizzy spell, "Whoa..."

"Careful," Steve helped her stand up straight, "You are in no position to use your powers right now."
"Just hold me upright and I'll be fine."
"Jen-"
"I have to at least try, Steve."
He let out an exaggerated sigh, "Fine! Just try quickly and don't drain yourself."
She lifted up on her toes slightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "I love when you listen to me."
She held her hands out in front of her and tried to pull the car from the wall, but all it seemed to do was anger the sentient wall, making it only hold on even tighter.
"There is no fucking way that I can get that to budge anytime soon," She wiped her nose.
"That's perfectly fine," He kissed the top of her head, "Let's go sit with the others."
"Okay."

They walked into the church that was right next to where they crashed.
"Jenna!" Dustin ran up to her, wrapping her in a hug, "Thank god you're okay."
"If it weren't for my boyfriend's shitty driving," She shot Steve a sarcastic glare, "I would've been fine. So, what have I missed?"
"We contacted Hopper and El—who are okay—and said they'd come help us at some point," Nancy explained, "They seemed a bit side tracked, though, and we have no clue how long it's gonna take for them to get here. Oh, and the wall goes around Hawkins. It's not just here and Hop thinks Holly's behind it."
"Well isn't that just peachy?" Jenna bit her lip, thinking, "Well, once my 'battery' recharges a bit, I can try getting the car out again. I-" She cut herself off when she heard The Chain start to skip on her Walkman, "What is up with this thing?" She smacked it and it did nothing to help.

She held a hand against it and detected that the battery was low, "Steve? Can I have the spare Walkman? This one's dying on me," She looked up to see him pull it out of his pocket, only for him to look at it in horror, "What? Oh my fucking god, you forgot to replace the batteries, didn't you?"
"Jen..." His voice started to break, "What do we do if you don't have your music? Can't you power it with your powers?"
"I can, but I need that little bit of energy to keep Henry from reading my thoughts and messing around in the back of my mind 24/7. I can't afford to use that up on the Walkman," She took a few deep breaths in, trying to prepare herself for the unknown, "I'm going to take the headphones off in a minute, okay everyone?"

"No," Steve pointed at her adamantly, "You will not. We'll figure it out. Dustin, hand me the batteries from the walkie."
"Don't you dare," Jenna stopped Dustin.
"We don't know what'll happen if he gets you, Jen," Dustin stared at her with concern, "We can't lose you to him."
"Remember, I love all of you. You're my family and closest friends and..."
"Stop talking like that, Jen," Steve closed his eyes.
"Nancy," Jenna redirected her attention to her.
"Yeah?" Her voice quivered.
"If anything really bad happens to me," She placed her hands on the headphones, "You're in charge, and you have permission to kill me," Jenna peeled the headphones from her ears.
"No!"
"Jenna, stop!"
"Jenna!"
