"I'm going first," Alice pushed past everyone else, "Jelly Belly! I'm coming to save you!" She pushed herself through without a care in the world other than to get to her best friend, "Jenna! It's you again!"
The two girls wrapped each other up in a proper hug, both of them feeling absolutely and utterly squished.
"I missed you so much," Jenna whispered in her ear.
"Me, too, Jelly Belly," Alice whispered back, kissing the side of Jenna's head, "Me too."
"Hey, you trying to steal my girl or what, Green?" Steve's cocky smirk transformed into a genuine smile, "I'm glad to see you."
Alice rolled her eyes as she let go of Jenna and gave him a quick hug, "Glad to see you too, you big lug. Where did everyone else go?"
"They're looking around for you guys to snag your signal again," Jenna finally wiped the blood from her face, "I-"
"Is this stuff safe to breathe?" Anna finally made her way through and looked at Robin.
"Unclear, but- Jenna!" She ran over to her, "We got you back! YAY!"
"I missed you, Rockin' Robin," Jenna nodded her head in Steve's direction, "He's been very annoying. Keeps complaining about having to climb stairs."
"Shut up about that!" He pouted.
Jenna watched as everyone else started to make their way through, stopping to give every single person—except for Mr Clarke and Anna—a hug and little greeting. She really, truly did miss her family.
"Mike?" She heard Lucas through Mike's walkie talkie, "Any luck down there?"
"Mike?" Everyone turned when they heard Dustin yell, "Mike!"
"Found them!" Mike replied before meeting Dustin in the middle for a hug, "Jesus, it's good to see you guys."
Mike's face dropped when he saw how defeated his sister looked as her eyes met his when she walked up with Dustin and Jonathan; no Holly in sight.
"Where's baby Wheeler?" Alice looked at Jenna, "Dustin said you guys had found her."
Everyone lowered their heads in defeat, "I almost had her..." Jenna tried to stop herself from crying again, "She, uh... she escaped from Camazots, but she... she fell from the sky. I caught her and brought her to us but..."
"It was like something had a hold of her," Nancy chewed on her lip, "Like an invisible hand pulling her back. Jenna held on, but it was going to tear her apart if she hadn't let go."
"It was Vecna," Jenna placed a hand on Mike's shoulder, "I know for a fact it was him. Holly's tapped into the hive mind, though, which means she's attached to me, too. She can signal for help whenever she needs it in my head or piggyback off of my powers. I won't let anything happen to her or the other kids."
Mike nodded before looking up at the sky, watching the red lightning crackle, "She fell through all of that? Wow."
Jenna held her hand up, drawing it into her system, "It's not as bad as it looks. Just because it's a badass red doesn't mean it's that harmful. It's much weaker than my powers if it makes you feel any better," She glanced up at him to see a frown still on his face, "Okay, I'm not helping. How about we all get our asses out of here, yeah? I've been down here way too fucking long and we have a lot to explain to all of you. Especially about this place. Wait, where's Lucas and Max?"
"Max is in a wheelchair, so she's on the other side of the gate," Anna explained.
"Sorry, who are you exactly? Wait, you're Anna! Alice's-"
"Yup," She cut her off, "That's me. I'm almost a nurse at the hospital. Nice to officially meet you. Your powers are really cool."
"Thank you," Jenna smiled before pushing through everyone and making her way back over to the gate, "What? Anyone else coming? I need to see my other children."
Jenna made her way through first, pulling herself through and essentially throwing herself at Max, "I'm so fucking relieved that you made it out of Henry's mind. You were there for way too long."
"I'm happy you're back in your body," Max weakly wrapped her arms around Jenna, "Holly said that you'd escaped. I'm happy you made it all the way out."
"That part was thanks to Steve," She turned around and watched as he pulled himself through the gate, "He rescued me from my own head."
"Whoa," She playfully smirked, "He was useful for once?"
"Yeah," Jenna chuckled, "Extremely useful."
"I love seeing your little reunion," Lucas cleared his throat, "But can I please get a hug, Jenna?"
"Of course, Lucas," She lifted herself back onto her feet and fell into his arms, "I'd never forget about you. All of my children deserve their moment with me."
