"I thought I said years ago that I never wanted to feel like a new born baby ever again," Jenna pulled herself through the rift first, "I really wish it stayed that way. Oh, shit!" Jenna ducked, avoiding a demo pouncing at her, "There's demos like..." She glanced around at the desert-esque landscape that had demogorgons roaming everywhere along with bats in the sky, "Fucking everywhere," She reached a hand through to Nancy, "Be careful."
Nancy, with the help of Jenna, pulled herself into the Abyss with her, shooting at a few bats that dove at them, "I'll keep watch, you help them through, okay?"
Jenna nodded and one-by-one helped her friends through, "I can't believe I actually let you guys join me here. It's not..." She took a second to lift Jon through, "Safe."
Once everyone was through and Nancy had gotten rid of most of the creatures in their area, they looked around them, taking a second to take in where they were.

"Holy shit," Dustin breathed out.
"Does this officially make us space travelers?" Nancy joked.
"If you mean interdimensional space travelers, then one hundred fucking percent, Wheeler," Alice peered around in awe, "I'd say this place is actually pretty if it weren't for the circumstances of our arrival."
"Suck it, Armstrong," Lucas scoffed.
"So," Joyce turned to Jenna, "Where to?"
Jenna closed her eyes for a moment, pointing when they opened again, "That way. Follow me and stay close. There's probably a lot more demos the closer we get to Vecna. Just let Nance and I do most of the work, 'kay?"
"And me!" Alice jumped up and down, "What? I kicked some demo ass back at the hospital. I thought you'd be proud of me, Jelly Belly."
"I am," She smiled, "But Nancy has a gun and I have lightning hands. You have a..." She stared at the bent metal rod slung across her back.
"It's an IV stand that I used earlier. It's more powerful than it looks."
"Okay..."

"Let's just get going," Nancy huffed, "The sooner we find Vecna, the better."
"Sorry," Jenna cleared her throat, "You're right. Let's go."
As they walked across the Abyss, Nancy had to shoot the occasional demogorgon or bat, but they became sparser and sparser.
"It might just be me, but I was expecting more like..." Lucas examined.
"Deadly vines?" Will finished.
"Or a lot more monsters?" Mike added.
"The hive mind must work here, too. So if El is fighting Henry, then his little minions are getting weaker as well."
"If?" Lucas tilted his head.
"We don't know what's going on in his mind," Dustin shrugged, "Jenna's here with us and so is Will. I'm just assuming that she must be fighting him since there isn't a lot attacking us. I have zero clue, though."

"Hey, Dusty," Jenna flinched when a demo ran right in front of them, "Didn't expect that."
"Neither did I," He laughed slightly.
"Thank you. For making up with Steve."
"I'm really glad that I did. I missed him."
"I know you did. You were both just too stubborn to speak up. You're a lot more alike than you think."
"Yeah?"
"Oh, totally. I'm like the midpoint between you two."
"I guess I see that."
Jenna took his hat off and ruffled his hair, "I love you, Dusty."
He copied her, ruffling her hair, "I love you, too, Jenna."
"If- whoa," She gaped as she stared at a huge cave/creature with a field of demos in front of it. She turned around and saw Steve and Jon dragging behind, "Hey, lovebirds? Come check this nightmare fuel out."

"Holy shit," Steve's eyes widened in total horror, "How the hell are we getting past all of those things?"
"I don't know, but I need to get over there," Jenna kept her eyes locked on it.
"She's right," Will agreed, "That's what I saw in my vision. The kids are in there."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Nancy tried to take a step forward, but Jenna stuck her arm out, stopping her.
"Oh no, you don't," She cracked her neck, "I'm going to clear a path and distract them. Then you can come in, okay?"
"But-"
"No. You wait until I get over there, you hear me?" She looked Nancy dead in the eyes, "I need a yes."
"Yes," She nodded.
"Be careful," Steve grabbed Jenna's hand, kissing it.
"I'm always careful, babe," She pulled him down for a real kiss before breaking away and making a run through the field.
