Robin, Will, and Alice were on top of the building attached to the radio tower, trying to mess with some wires and test voltages for the demo. Alice and Robin split a few wires while Will drilled into their test pumpkin. While they started tying the wires to the pumpkin, Robin opened her mouth.
"Hey, so, um," She coughed, "I realize, and I know that I've waited just long enough to make this super awkward, but I never thanked you for saving my life, which is, you know, kind of, sort of a big deal. Especially to me."
"Oh, me neither," Alice joined in, "Thanks, Willy Will. I appreciate it."
"You're welcome," Will chuckled, "I... I... I mean, I should be thanking you two, though."
"Thanking us?" Robin looked up from the tools in her hand, "Why?"
"For talking to me about Tammy and Jenna and... and your lives. It was... it was so... helpful. That, mixed with Jenna's scarily good pep talk, it just... I don't know.... helped me take control."
"Me? Talking? Helpful? Someone should really tell my mother," She hammered a stake into the pumpkin.
"So, after- after this Tammy and the whole tape epiphany, is that when you two started to..."
Robin let out a laugh, "No, no, no. Um... I mean, I never would have had the guts to talk to this one," She nudged Alice slightly, "Back then. I was finally cool with myself, but sharing that part of myself with someone else, that was a whole other thing. But eventually, I... I did it. You know, I told someone," She examined their work on the pumpkin, "Looks like we're all set."
She stood up and walked over to the edge of the building.
"But..." Will stammered, "Wait. But... but who did you tell?"
"Oh. The obvious. Steve and Jenna, along with Alice when we were trapped in the Russian elevator."
"Wait, what?" He ran over to the ladder she started to go down, "Robin, I... I mean, I don't understand. You told the girl you used to have a crush on, the girl you're currently dating, and... and Steve? Like, as in Jenna's Steve?"
"Steve 'The Hair' Harrington, my once sworn enemy," She proudly smirked before going into the building and turning on the voltage, "Okay! Watch out, you two!"
"Perfect, babe!" Alice yelled down to her.
"Really?" Will put his hands on his hips as he turned towards his cousin, "Steve?"
"I mean, yeah. The only reason she even said anything was because Jenna and I were talking about it."
"Why were you talking about it?"
"I don't remember who, but someone suggested we play spin the bottle because we were so bored and I said no because I was never going to kiss Steve. Then more words got shared and the convo just kinda... flowed?"
"But, in front of Steve? He seems..."
"Like a bonkers choice?" Robin overheard them.
"Yeah."
"Believe me, I know," Robin giggled, "To be fair, Alice had just told me she only liked girls and Jenna fucking Henderson said she didn't care about who she dated, so I figured Steve would be cool since he already knew about both of them," She climbed back up the ladder, "But, just saying it out loud to people and hearing them be cool with it just felt like a weight was lifted, you know? And, I guess, if I hadn't told Steve or Jenna or Alice, I probably wouldn't have had the courage to go on a date with this one," They intertwined hands, "And I wouldn't be talking to you about any of this right now because I'd still be hiding away from the world. You're only audience member number four. I'm hoping to double my audience by the end of the year with some people I know I can trust, but that's only if you out-sorcerer the sorcerer, and we don't all die."
"You don't by any chance have anybody to throw me into a spin the bottle circle with, do you?"
All three of them started laughing together before I noticed the pumpkin starting on fire right in front of their eyes.
"Get back!" Alice yelled as she grabbed the fire extinguisher and put it out, "Damn, that thing went up fast."
"It is a pumpkin after all," Robin wrapped an arm around her waist, "You look very hot right now, may I add."
"Oh, please continue to flatter me. I can never get enough of it."
I can never get enough of her...
