Theo told you where you were going, but you had no idea where it was. You supposed it was best, if you didn't know it, there was a better chance that the dread doctors or their chimeras didn't.

You packed quickly and left in his car, making a quick detour on the way. You pulled up on the edge of the forest. Unsure of what he was doing you asked him, he replied by saying that he needed to 'retrieve something from the lake'.

You followed him through the woods, intrigued as to what he needed so desperately. You had seen him by the lake when he first arrived. When you went spying with stiles and Liam.

"I should tell them I'm leaving though." You said to Theo as you approached the water's edge.

"Good idea, I don't want them to think I kidnapped you." He joked. You decided to text stiles, knowing he would be the most alert. You typed on the keyboard on your phone until you had completed the message.

'I'm going away, it's not safe. I'll come back as soon as I can. Don't track me or try and find me. I love you guys.

You missed out the part about Theo, knowing it would make stiles anxious. They still didn't trust him.

You heard a splashing sound and noticed how large the ripples were in the water. Theo was tugging on a chain hard, you knew there was no point helping. If his werewolf strength couldn't pull it up, you certainly couldn't.

With one last big heave, the chain ended, a metal box now resting on the water's edge.

"I need your help carrying it back to the car." He said.

"I don't know how much help I'll be I'm not very strong."

"Don't worry, I'll take most of the weight. It's just too large for one person to carry, werewolf or not." So you helped him and slowly made your way back to the car, dodging tree branches that tried to trip you up as you went along.

When you finally put it down you hurried back into the front of the car. He jumped in and drove off. You put the radio on and tried to sleep whilst you were travelling, as you hadn't had any sleep for almost a whole day.

When you next opened your eyes it was bright. You yawned and looked out of the window. Lush green fields surrounded the area and there was only a few houses dotted around here and there. You looked ahead, the outline of more buildings becoming more and clearer.

"We're nearly there. Did you sleep ok?" Theo asked, handing you a bottle of water.

"Yeah, surprisingly well. It's beautiful here. Are we staying in the town?"

"Well, it's not really a town. There's a church. A shop. A pub. There's a tiny village hall as well. But only a handful of families live here. It's definitely small. Welcoming as well. You'll love it."

"It sounds great." You smiled, looking over at him. He smiled back, but it didn't quite reach his eyes, that when you realised how tired he must be.

"how long have we been driving?" you asked.

"all night."

"And you haven't slept?" you questioned, concerned. He shook his head, but continued anyway. Saying that you needed to leave the least amount of evidence behind. You didn't want to leave a trace or a scent anywhere.

You drove through the town and noticed how peaceful everyone looked. This world seemed so different from the one you were used to.

"As far as I know, there's one supernatural family living on the outskirts and two in town. It's very peaceful and they haven't had anyone else supernatural arrive until I came."

"And when was that?" you were curious about his childhood it wasn't something he openly talked about.

"When I was a kid I came here, probably a toddler, but I wasn't bitten until much later. You know the story. It was a family friend's home. They left it for another friend. That friend still owns it, but doesn't use it. Don't worry. It can't be tracked back to me. They'll never find you."

"Good to know." You passed the town, driving towards the outskirts again. Shortly after you passed through the town, you turned off along a dirt road. You drove alone that for longer than you were expecting, only seeing green fields and bushes and occasionally a few animals grazing.

You saw a large wooden house ahead.

"Those are your neighbours Josephine and Patrick. The have a son and daughter in law; Sean and Kelly. And then they have three kids. Maya is 3, she's sweet. Luke is 7 and his twin brother is called Johnny and he is obviously 7 as well. They're also sweet but troublesome. Kelly's pregnant with their fourth." Theo explained.

"Three generations under one roof, must be cramped." You commented, but as you drove past you could see that they were certainly not cramped.

"They have a pretty big house, I guess it helps that both parents work and the grandparents get a pension that's through the roof."

You nodded and continued to watch as you drove past.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. The grandparents have another daughter who lives with them, Layla. She's our age. They had Sean very young and retired early. To be honest I think Layla was a mistake, but they love her."

You continued for only a few seconds before you saw the roof of another house poking out from behind the trees. This one was smaller than the last house, but gave the illusion of being bigger due to how grand it looked.

"And this is where you'll be staying."
