On a cold day in the middle of winter, you found yourself covered in blood, stood on the platform of a train station. You didn't recognise anyone around you, everyone had gone all out on their costumes. You had chosen to go as a zombie hunter with Isaac, your boyfriend, going as the zombie. On the run up to the event, you had had many discussions with him about it. He would always argue that he would make a better zombie hunter, yet you showed him with a few martial arts moves that you would be the better choice.

You received a text message as you waited, the timer until the train arrived at the platform reaching zero. The message was, of course, from Isaac. He was somewhere further down the platform with Brett, Scott and Kira and would find you once everyone was on the train.

The train was painted a shimmering black with silver details. Heavy smoke poured out of the front, almost blocking out the light from the moon. The carriages were dark as the train pulled up, the glass in the windows covered. You were thrusted forward by the swarm of people wanting to get on. Unable to resist the crowd, you stepped onto the train. You turned right, heading down the train in search of Isaac. He must've got on near the front if he couldn't find you on the platform, whereas you got on at the back. In the middle carriage was a band playing rock music, making the floor shake. You could feel the beat of the drums in your ribcage as you tiptoed around groups of dancing people. The sheer number of people in front of the mini stage made it impossible to get through, so instead you decided to walk back to the carriage you had previously been in. You sat in an empty seat and pulled out your phone from your bag. Dialling the number, you put the phone to your ear and hoped that Isaac would pick up. The loud beeping indicated there wasn't enough signal to use your phone, most likely being a stunt to make people socialise. Sighing, you spot a bar at the end of the long cabin. You grabbed your stuff, heading over. If Isaac wasn't going to find you for a while, you may as well have a few drinks.

Once your drink had been served, you sat further down, away from the majority of the noise. You watched from your seat as people stumbled around the cabin. A few guys passed you dressed as werewolves and you laughed to yourself, wondering what their reactions would be if they were to see one in real life.

Suddenly your phone rang. You put your drink on the table and fumbled around in your bag. Just before it stopped, you managed to answer it.

"Y/n... front...... else" Isaac spoke into the phone, the signal breaking up every other second.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear you." You replied, pushing one finger in your ear as you tried to block everyone else out.

"Group....you" you couldn't make out what he was saying and wondered if he could even hear your replies...

"Look I'm going to try and get to the front of the train, I'm sure to pass you on the way. I'll see you soon" turning off the phone, you drank the rest of your drink in one and threw your bag over your shoulder. Getting through the second time was harder than the first. The crowd in front of the band seemed to have grown larger, more people being aware of its whereabouts. It was impenetrable. Getting frustrated, you went back to the spot you had signal and tried ringing Isaac. You knew that he would be able to muscle his way through.
