Hi can you do an imagine where you're dating Scott and he breaks up with BC I thinks that's the only way he can protect you thanks 😊

A/N: I can't remember the last time I did a Scott imagine. But I think I might have a thing for old abandoned houses, I seem to write about them quite a bit xxx

Words: 840

His footprints left a trail in the mud, allowing you to follow his tracks. He'd run off without warning and you were beyond worried. An eerie building stood in front of you, shadowing a murky lake. You were lost, not having found this place before.

"Scott where are you?" you called out through the empty wooden house, stepping inside. The floor boards groaned underneath you, dust being kicked up with every step. The house clearly hadn't been inhabited in many years. You weren't even sure why Scott was here, why he busted open the lock on the front door and ran inside. The light in the hallway diminished as the full moon was covered by cloud. You heard a creak from above, the abandoned house hinting at Scott's whereabouts. You ran upstairs, a low growling reverberating off the walls. "Scott?!" you called out again, more concerned about his welfare than yours.

"Leave me alone." He snarled. You poked your head around the door frame to an old bedroom, noticing Scott curled up in the corner. The room was even dustier than the hallway, the out dated sheets on the bed suggesting it had been at least 50 years since they were bought. Taking a step forward, you whispered soothing words, trying to calm him down. "Stay back." For a second he sounded like the human Scott, as if he was winning the battle between the man and beast inside him.

"Scott its ok, I trust you. I'm not afraid." You whispered reassuringly, knowing he would hear you. Your heartbeat remained steady, indicating that you were telling the truth. He seemed calm down, his fangs retreating back into his gums. You walked over and slid down next to him, resting you head on his shoulder. This was the worst full moon you had been around to witness. You didn't know Scott when he was first bitten but you imagined his first few full moons were similar. Most other times since then Scott had complete control, but at this moment in time, he had completely lost it.

"If I'm not in full control of the wolf, you can't be here y/n. you have to understand that." Scott argued, panting. You watched the beads of sweat run down his forehead, realising how hard it was for him to maintain the level of self-control he had. Through the dirty window you could see the moon slowly emerging again.

"It's not like I'm going anywhere, everything is usually ok and I know you won't hurt me." You soothed, using the sleeve of your jumper to wipe his forehead in a loving gesture. He leant into your hand, furrowing his brow. The deep sigh he released spoke louder than any words could. "I love you. I love human Scott and werewolf Scott. You're the same person, I wouldn't want one without the other. I'm strong enough to protect myself and you're strong enough to restrain yourself from hurting others."

"I can't guarantee that I won't hurt you. Over these last month's I've gotten worse at staying human during a full moon. Who knows what will happen next time." You could see his jaw tense and his nostrils flare as another wave hit him. He squeezed his eyes shut as his claws sprung out. You remained still against him. He rocked slightly, digging his claws into his palms. "go." He roared, opening his eyes to reveal red irises. Instantly, you backed away due to the force of his voice. Seeing you move away from him hurt him and that hurt turned him straight back into human form. "This is what I'm talking about y/n. it's not safe. I'm not safe."

The direction of this conversation seemed all too familiar. Every full moon he would worry about you. He would argue that you would be better off without all the supernatural things in your life. But when it came down to it, he would always end up in your arms. Each time he went to walk out he'd stop. You loved each other way too much to just say goodbye. At least that's what you thought.

"It's over y/n." Scott blurted, now facing away. He bit the inside of his cheek nervously.

"It's not over." you laughed, tears forming in your eyes. Humour was the only way you could react. There was no way in hell he was breaking up with you. Not after all that you'd shared.

"It's time to end It." with that he got up and headed towards the bedroom door. You sat in shock, your mouth hanging open. Your heart thumped against your ribs, a physical ache spreading out over your chest.

"You don't mean that." You called after him, standing up to follow him out. There was no reply to your statement. You only heard his footsteps running down the stairs. By the time you made it to the bottom, the front door had been swung open hastily. The cold air pricked your skin as you crumbled to your knees. He was gone.
