The boys were back in Erie. Allison was actually able to spend time with her best friend, Kara, since she wasn't constantly spending all her time with Connor, and Kara wasn't always with Stromer. They were both ready for senior year. That meant less games. They needed to focus. Kara was planning on going to college for photography and Allison was just aiming for a scholarship. They went to games when they could, but it wasn't nearly as much as the previous year. This was putting a strain on their relationships. Well, Connor and Allison's relationship. And whatever Dylan and Kara were.

Thanksgiving was coming. It was the Thursday before it. The girls were preparing to drive to Kitchener after school to see the boys before spending Thanksgiving with the boys' families. Allison was excited. She had already packed for the weekend. Kara hadn't. Allison's phone was buzzing from a call. It was Alex DeBrincat. Kara answered it for her, putting it on speaker.

"Hey, Kitty Cat." Allison teased.

"Hey, are you two still coming tomorrow?" He asked, sounding nervous.

"Yes we are, why do you ask?" Kara replied.

He let out a long sigh. "I don't think it's a good idea for Alli to come."

"What?" Kara frowned.

"Excuse me?" Allison hissed.

"It's not because of you, it's just," He growled. "I'm about to break every code between g-"

"Spit it out, DeBrincat." Allison snarled.

"Connor's been hanging out with some girl, a lot. I don't know many details, I just kn-"

"Thanks, Alex." Allison cut him off, hanging up the phone.

Allison continued organizing her bag. Her back was to Kara. Kara sat up on her bed slowly. Allison was too quiet. She just found out that her boyfriend may be cheating and she had nothing to say. Allison always had something to say. Kara slowly approached her friend.

"Allison..." She breathed slowly.

"Who the fuck does this kid think he is?" Allison snapped. "He's good at hockey so he thinks he has the okay to fucking cheat on me? Me?"

"Al,"

"I am a fucking catch! He's lucky he even got a chance with me!" Allison ranted. "I've spent a year of my fucking life with this guy, and he cheats on me? I've put up with him for a year and he cheats?"

"It's okay to be upset, Allison." Kara squeezed her hand.

"Oh, I'm not upset. I'm infuriated." Allison said through gritted teeth. "He'll be lucky if I don't rip off his balls as soon as I see him tomorrow."

"Just play it cool until after the game and then call him out." Kara grinned.

So that's what happened. Kara didn't say a word to Dylan and Allison made Connor think everything was fine. The Otters won eight to three. Dylan had three assists and was a plus four. Connor had two goals, two assists, two penalty minutes, and was a plus four. Allison was standing by the change room doors, waiting for Connor. She had a scowl on her face. She just glared at any of the guys that said hi to her. She knew all of them knew about the other girl. She saw Alex come out and frown at her. He walked over and hugged her, apologizing.

Connor eventually came out. He came over to Allison smiling. She gave her best fake smile. He snaked his arms around her waist. She rested hers on his stomach, rubbing it gently. He pressed his lips to hers. She kissed back with less passion. He didn't notice.

"Did you see my nice game?" He purred.

She nodded. "I'm glad you had a good game, baby." She smiled, running her hand along his stomach. "Because it might be one of your lasts."

"Huh?" He chuckled a bit.

She shoved him back. He stumbled in shock. "Are you cheating on me?" She hollered crossing her arms.

"What? What would make y-"

"Can you please just be fucking honest? We've been together for a year, I deserve that much." She hissed.

Everyone was watching them and Connor knew. "I didn't know how to tell you." He exhaled.

She shook her head. "You could've just broken up with me before you did it." She stated, tearing up. "Or not done it." She turned, walking away from him.

"Allison, please talk to me." He begged.

"Fine." She chuckled, turning back to him. "What do you want to talk about? The fact that you're a complete fucking douchebag?" She spat. "That you just absolutely ruined your chances with me, considering how lucky you were that I actually gave you a chance in the first place."

"I know I fucked up." He said, his voice shaky. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I love you."

Her face twisted. "Is that supposed to make me forgive you?" She spat. "You love me so this is fine?"

"I just th-"

"You didn't think about me though. And that's why you cheated." She finished before she walked away.
