Phoebe laughed a bit at the fact that everything in Allison's cart why hypoallergenic. Allison pouted at her. The girls were both so mean to Connor.
His skin was beyond sensitive. If the bedding wasn't washed everyday, he'd breakout. He couldn't use or wear certain materials and he had to use the highest quality shampoos and such. She didn't know how his billets hadn't wanted to kill him in Erie, or how Kelly hadn't made him do his own laundry, because she was close to it.
"Okay, stop. His skin is super sensitive." Alli said, stifling a laugh.
"He's like a newborn baby!" Phoebe exclaimed with a laugh.
"It's kinda sad. The poor kid can't even use normal sheets." Veronica added, laughing about it.
"Guys, come on." Allison giggled. "Give my boy a break. It's not his fault."
"I am so glad my boyfriend is not this high maintenance." Phoebe shook her head.
"Yeah, really." Veronica snorted.
"Your boy is low maintenance too?" Phoebe cocked a brow.
"I meant that Ryan is,"
"I know, I'm teasing." Phoebe shook her head before she walked off to grab something she liked.
Veronica gave Allison a look. Alli just smirked. They went to the registers and paid for all their things. Allison called shotgun as the walked out and Phoebe growled. They were always fighting for it but Allison always seemed to get it. Everything was loaded into Veronica's car and then they were off for Alli's.
The girls were helping Alli put everything away when Connor came home. They had groceries and she was dealing with all Connor's stuff. He waved to them when he walked in, walking down the hall to find Allison.
"Hey!" She greeted, pressing her lips to his.
"Did Phoeb and Ron go shopping with you all day today?" He asked.
"Well, yeah." She crossed her arms. "Why is that an issue?"
"It's just embarrassing." He sighed. "I don-"
"I figured you'd want these in the bathroom." Veronica said, interrupting the convo. "For why ever you need them."
She extended a thing of baby wipes to Allison. She smiled when she took them. The baby wipes were actually for her, rather than spending a ton on make up wipes.
"I bet you think those are for me too, right?" He spat at Veronica.
"I don't know or care what they're for." Veronica put her hands up in defence as she walked away.
"Connor, what the fuck?" Allison hissed.
"It was probably a field day for you girls. Just cracking jokes about me." He shook his head, looking at the ground.
"What is your problem?" She asked, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're actually this upset over nothing?"
"It's not nothing to me!" He screamed in her face.
Her brows furrowed and her face twisted after he yelled. He thought she was about to kill him. She took a deep breath and set the baby wipes down.
"Okay." She said calmly.
He watched as she walked past him towards their room. He reached out, grabbing her arm and she brushed him off. She turned around and glared.
"Don't right now." She hissed before she walked into the room and slammed the door.
He stormed into the living room. Veronica and Phoebe both avoided eye contact. He just growled and walked out. He went down to the parking garage and just sat in his car for a good hour. He noticed Veronica's car leaving at one point and he felt now was a good time to go upstairs and check out the situation.
He took a deep breath when he reached the apartment door. He unlocked it then walked in. The living room and kitchen were empty. There was no sound through the apartment. Had Alli left with the girls? He decided to check their bedroom. And she was there. Packing a bag.
"Are you leaving me?" Connor's voice broke as he asked.
Her head shot towards him. He had scared her. She just turned back to what she was doing, staying silent. He didn't say anything while he waited for an answer.
"For the night at least." She spoke quickly.
"Alli, I'm sorry. It was a rough practice and I took it out on you, over something so stupid, and I know I sh-"
"It's not about the argument." She cut him off.
"Then why won't you stay?" He asked quietly.
She zipped her bag then looked at him. Her eyes were red from crying. That made his heartache. She tucked her hair behind her ears.
"That moment when you scream in my face," She began. "I felt scared."
And that made his heart break. He felt his eyes watering as he just stared at her. He had never felt this terrible in his entire life. He watched her eyes watering as she watched him. She took a deep breath which sounded as if she was holding back a sob.
"I can't stay with someone who scares me." She stated, wiping her eyes before a tear escaped.
"Alli, I would never hurt you." He said, grabbing her hands while he cried.
"I know that, I do. But I just need tonight." She told him, pulling her hands away slowly.
"Please just stay." He begged.
"Just give me tonight and then I'll come home tomorrow and we can figure this out." She smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'll see you."
She gave him a quick peck before she grabbed her bag and walked out. He just dropped on the bed, still sitting up. He heard the front door open then close and he still didn't move. He didn't know what to do. He felt for his phone through his pockets. He pulled it out and went to the first speed dial in his phone.
"Hey, Davo!" Dylan's chipper voice answered.
"I messed up."
