Dylan had eventually lightened up when their food came. They laughed and talked as they ate. He kept throwing fries at Allison. She was close to murdering him. He was all smiles. She wanted to talk about Kara with him but she didn't want to ruin his mood. Connor noticed Allison swallow hard before sipping from her drink.

"Are you two gonna talk about Kara's message now?" He broke the mood.

Dylan's smile slowly faltered. "I guess we should, huh?" He nodded at Allison.

"You're not an idiot, Dylan." Allison frowned. "You love her, and she didn't treat you well. She was not being honest with you, and neither was I, and I'm sorry I didn't t-"

"Woah, you weren't the one doing it, Al. I've never blamed you." He cut her off. "She's your best friend, you gotta have her back. If I would've known about Davo and Lauren, I wouldn't have told you. No offence and sorry, Davo."

Connor rolled his eyes. "I get it."

"True." Alli sighed. "I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry about what she said to you. Some friend." Dylan shook his head. "For the record, I don't think you went to Alberta for Davo."

She smiled a bit. "Thank you." She poked her food with her fork. "I don't want to go to her birthday."

"Really?" Dylan gasped.

"Alli, over one little fight?" Connor frowned at her.

"What she said was really hurtful, Con." She explained. "I just think this might be the end."

"Of what?" He rubbed her back.

"Of, my friendship with Kare." Alli scratched her head. "I need to reply."

"Don't be mean, be the bigger person." He rubbed her lower back, kissing her temple.

She nodded. She thought for a minute before she started to type. Connor watched her as she did, Dylan did as well. She would stop and move her fingers around before she started to type again. She exhaled as she read it over. She handed her phone over to Dylan so he could read it through.

"I think that's good." He nodded, sliding it over to her.

"What's it say?" Connor asked, still rubbing her back.

"Uh, summary of it is basically, I don't need a friend who thinks I'd let anyone else decide my future, I wish her the best, and I still love and care about her, but I'm not letting negativity like that remain in my life." She bit her lip.

"Are you gonna send it?" He chuckled.

"This isn't stupid, right?" She frowned up at Connor.

"If you're really that upset, no." He reassured her.

She nodded before she sent the message. She locked her phone right after, placing it face down on the table. Dylan smiled at her before grabbing his phone. He started typing up a storm. He finished and slid his phone over to Allison. She read it over. He had sent Kara a message about being done with her as well.

"Both of us in the same night?" She sighed as she slid his phone to him.

"Way she goes." He shrugged.

"Enough of this crap!" Connor growled, smacking his hands on the table. "No more Kara! It's an Otter and Alli night, okay?"

Allison started giggling. She wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her chin on his shoulder. He pouted at her, getting himself a kiss. He huffed when they pulled apart. She shook her head, shoving him away. He smirked a bit.

"Can we go for froyo?" Dylan whined.

"Yes, Dylan." Connor laughed.

The waitress came over to grab their plates. She asked if they were separate bills and before Allison or Dylan could answer, Connor answered no. Alli rolled her eyes, swatting him as she reached for her wallet in her purse. Dylan didn't mind.

"I love being a sugar baby." He teased.

Connor laughed out loud. Allison slid a twenty dollar bill into Connor's pocket. He pulled it out and tucked it into her bra. She growled at him, pulling it out of her shirt. She smacked it on the table in front of him. He picked it up and she grabbed his hand to stop her.

"I hate you so much." She hissed, trying to break his grip.

"That's okay." He beamed.

The waitress came back with a debit machine. Connor paid with his credit card while holding Allison back from paying with her money. She was whining the entire time. He thanked the waitress and Allison gave up. She glared at him as she put her twenty back in her wallet.

"I'm buying your frozen yogurt." She shoved him as they stood up.

"Alright." He laughed, placing his hand on her back as they walked out.

"Who's buying my froyo?" Dylan frowned.

"Ask your sugar daddy." Alli bumped Connor before she went to her side of the car.
