Allison let out a noise that sounded like a muzzled scream. Connor looked over at her. She locked her phone and threw it onto Veronica's bed. She rolled into him, burying her face in his side. He wrapped his arm around her, pressing his lips to the top of her head. She wrapped her arms around his waist.

"What's going on?" He rubbed her back.

"I guess Kara is swamped with her exams and shit so she hasn't gone to any of Mitch or Dylan's games and they're both asking me if she's secretly mad at them or what." Allison mumbled into Connor. She rolled onto her back. "I just don't know or care what's going on there anymore."

"Tell them that." He chuckled.

"I always just say 'I don't know' but you know Dylan doesn't let me get by with that." She rolled her eyes. "Fight him for me."

"I'll fight anyone but Stromer for you." He smirked. "If I made a list of the people that mean the most to me, it would be you, my family, Stromer."

She smiled. "That's kinda sweet." She rubbed his chest.

"That was from least to most." He teased.

Her smile fell. "Die."

He laughed, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her forehead. She whined as he did it. He let go and she stood to get her phone.

She scrolled through it as she walked back over to her bed. She sat on Connor with one leg on the bed and the other dangling off the bed. He rested his hands on her hips.

"I can't believe she's still leading them on." She shook her head as she typed. "I can't believe they're still letting her."

"If the feelings are there," Connor shrugged. "They aren't gonna let up on that."

"Mitch said he's just asking from a friend standpoint." Allison rolled her eyes.

"Mitch is lying." He snickered.

The season ended without a playoff spot for the Oilers. The boys all helped the girls move their things out of their dorm room after exams. Allison was storing all her crap at Taylor and Connor's.

She finished with a decent average. She expected more from herself but Connor was excited for her. He didn't fly home until she was able to.

They went to Erie for a bit when they first got home. The Otters were still in the playoffs and Connor wanted to cheer his friends on.

They watched the first home game. Connor went down to the change room afterwards. They had won. Connor knocked in the change room door. He walked in and no one even looked at him. Allison waited outside.

"Nice win, boys." He smirked.

"Davo!" Dylan cried before he launched at Connor.

Connor was engulfed by the boys. They were all buzzing and excited to see him. He hugged all of the guys that had swarmed him. They started chatting about hockey. They asked him about the NHL and he asked them how the O was. Then he remembered Allison was waiting outside.

"Wait," He stopped Travis mid-sentence. Connor ran into the hall and picked Allison up, carrying her into the change room. "I brought someone."

They swarmed her next. After finishing their embraces, Allison swatted Connor's chest. He wrapped his arm around her, kissing her head. The guys started hooting and hollering. She rolled her eyes.

Connor kept talking with the guys. Allison had small comments now and then, mostly roasting the guys. They hadn't missed that.

"Are you gonna make an appearance at Kara's birthday?" Allison asked Dylan when they were out for dinner.

He shrugged. "We'll have to find out."

"Oh no, what's wrong in paradise?" She frowned, stealing a bite of Connor's food.

"We got in a fight about Mitch, again." Dylan rolled his eyes. "She's moving to Toronto."

"What? Why?" Her brows furrowed.

"School. She's switching into make up." He explained. "I think she's following Mitch."

"Okay, that's crazy." Allison laughed. "But I get it, there's something between her and Mitch."

He nodded. "And her being close to him like always just doesn't sit right in my stomach."

She shrugged. "I love Kare, but don't let yourself get played." She squeezed Dylan's hand.

"Thanks Alli." He smiled at her.

Erie lost their next game. Connor and Allison went home because the Otters were on the road. They went their own ways to spend some time with their families. They drove to each other, alternating between who was going where. They would have week long sleepovers. It was just like they were before.
