"See." Allison smiled, wrapping her arms around Connor's neck well she kissed his cheek. "They loved you."
"I don't know why." He chuckled, leaning his head back against her.
"Because you're the most charming boy in the world." She giggled, falling onto the bed next to him.
He stared at her, laying on the edge of the bed. Her hair was flowing around her as she typed away on her phone. He just watched. He trailed his fingers along her waistband. She was so beautiful, and he was so lucky. He laid on his stomach, resting his head in his hands.
"We should go do something." He said, stroking her hair from her face.
She rolled towards him, beaming up at him. "Like what, baby?" She kissed his hand.
"We could go to that beach party your cousin mentioned." He suggested.
"Yes, perfect. Let's go." She kissed him then stood up.
She quickly changed into something warmer. They walked down the driveway, then onto the street and made their way. They laughed, held hands, and he even piggy-backed her part of the way. He dropped her when they first got on the beach. That resulted in Alli chasing him all the way to the fire.
The night started to die down and the pair was still going strong. They were both intoxicated and loving their time together. Allison was resting against Connor's chest between his legs. His arms were wrapped around her while she held onto his arm.
"I like this." He broke the silence.
"I knew you would. And you were so concerned you would hate it here!" She shook her head. "Newfoundland isn't bad at all."
"I would never hate somewhere that I got to go with you." He whispered, kissing her ear.
"Good. This place is like my second favourite place in the world." She let out a laugh.
"Where's your first?" He wondered.
She turned to face him. "In your arms."
He rolled his eyes. "So lame."
"Oh, fuck you." She laughed, shoving him back by his face.
"What's that?" He said, standing up. "You want to go, for a swim?"
He picked her up and she started squealing. She was laughing and begging him not to. He just smiled, carrying her towards the ocean. He splashed water all over them before they fell into the water. They laughed, hanging onto each other.
"Thank you for coming to see my family." She breathed, staring up at him.
"Thank you for coming into my life." He pulled her towards him.
"Oh, and I'm the lame one?" She teased as he pressed his lips to hers. "I'm freezing, can we go home?"
"Want me to carry you?" He picked her up by her thighs.
She wrapped her legs around his waist. "You're the best." She purred, kissing his collarbone. "But I want a piggy-back."
He put her down, then let her jump onto his back. He carried her to their shoes, leaning over and picking them up. She tucked them between them, resting on his back like some kind of sloth. He carried her home, humming some new song that was stuck in his head. He felt her breathing slow and knew she had fallen asleep. He carried her inside and upstairs quietly.
"Alli, you gotta take your wet clothes off." He whispered to her, setting her on the bed.
She let out a groan but pulled her shirt over her head. She threw it to the ground then wiggled out of her shorts. His pants tightened. He was only human. He took a very deep breath as he changed into his own dry clothes, just a pair of sweats.
"Connie!" She whined. "Come make love to me."
He shook his head. "Al, baby, you're drunk."
"Okay, yes. No love making tonight." She agreed. "Will you dress me, please? My nipples are so hard."
He laughed. "Of course. What do you want to wear?"
"Mmm, something of yours." She rolled onto her side. "Your Oilers hockey sweater and my zebra panties."
"You got it." He winked, searching for his sweater.
The next morning, Connor went down for breakfast while Allison finished getting ready. He smiled at her uncle who was just grabbing coffee before heading to work. Val came down and started preparing food for them.
"Just so you know, this house is old and the walls are very thin." She smirked. Connor's eyes widened. "Thank you for being a good kid. Allison was in no position last n-"
Allison came down the stairs and smiled at them. She turned off the the other bathroom with better lighting. Connor looked back to Val.
"Just, thank you." She squeezed his hand.
