Nathan POV

I was brushing my teeth, still half-asleep.

"Please! Next time na pumunta ang lalaking iyon dito, can you tell him to not send me anymore flowers and chocolates! Throw all that away!" I heard my sister shouting.

I look out to peek still brushing my teeth.

"Ma'am, sayang po oh. Mukhang mahal pa ang mga bulaklak at tsokolate"

"I don't care! Tell Arthur, that I don't want to see him again. I refuse to marry him! I still have my younger brother with me and I don't need him anymore!"

"O-opo"

"Arthur?" I walk towards my sister. "Isn't he your fiance? And also your suitor?"

"Yeah. He is asking me to marry him, after he left me nung sinabi kong ayaw ko munang magpakasal at the age of 18. He left me, now...after seven years, he'd just pop out somewhere? Asking me to marry him?!"

"Cool...but I know it broke your heart when he leave you with another woman to court?"

"I'm ready to say my feelings for him, pero sa bandang huli, sumuko siya. Akala ko willing siyang mag-wait but no, he already give up so I give up on him too"

"Sis, I know you still love him, don't you?" I asked with a serious tone, then she gulped.

"I don't know..." mahina niyang sabi."But, if you don't go to school early. I'm gonna beat you up" she said with a murderous tone.

"Fine. Fine, I'm going!" ( -- ___ -- |||)

I sighed while looking at the window of our car. I saw nerd walking so I called out to her.

"Hey, nerd!"

Diane POV

Boses ba ni Nathan iyon?

Hindi. Hindi.

"Nerd!" wala akong naririnig.

"Hey, I've been calling out to you, do you even have ears?!" nagulat na lang nang nasa kaliwa na siya. Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa.

"Ah! Nathan! Ikaw pala iyan?!" nagpatay-malisya na lang ako at ngumiti.

"Late reaction..." mahinang sabi ni Nathan."You want a lift?" nakangiting tanong niya.

Napatingin ako sa mata niya pababa sa mga labi niya.

Ahhh!!! Ayan nanaman!

"Naku, huwag na hehe. Salamat na lang! Bye!" Diane, kailangan mong tumakas Diane! Da-yan!!!

"Hey! I'm still talking to you! Hey!" palayo na ako ng palayo kay Nathan. Hanggang sa huli ay tumakbo na ako.

"Phew!" hinihingal akong nakapunta sa school. Kung saan-saan ako hinabol ng kotse ni Nathan. Gago na iyon hindi ako tinigilan hangga't sa na-flat ang tires ng kotse nila.

"Diane, good morning" binati ako ni Chris mula sa likod ko.

"Ah! Good morning Chris, belated ulit pala" nginitian ko siya. Buti hindi katulad ni Chris si Nathan na may topak yata, hindi ko alam ang iniisip niya.
