Rio's POV

Rio yawned and stretched lazily in the warmth of the sunlight streaming through the windows. Through her early morning daze, she heard the bustling and busy streets of Paris outside the window. An arm tightened around her waist, pulling her backwards to a smooth muscled chest. For a moment, she didn't know where she was. Memories of the night before resurfaced, and with it, came a sweet smile upon her lips.

"Welcome to Paris, Mrs. de la Vega," he said, grinning at me from ear to ear. A blush crept across my cheeks at my new name.

"Glad to be here, Mr. de la Vega," I replied, giving my husband a sly smile. I swaggered to the center of our hotel room and turned in a slow circle, admiring the décor and feeling of the new space.

"How long can we stay?" I asked Oz.

The handsome man's grin faded a little as he responded, "We can't be away from our pack long, and so I reserved our hotel for three days."

I nodded, glancing down at the soft comforter on the bed beside me. With a shy smile upon my lips, I looked to Oz from under my lashes. "We'd better get started then," I said.

"Mmm," a sleepy Oz groaned. "Don't leave."

"I have to," Rio said. "I gotta pee!"

"You can go later," he replied, pulling her closer to his body. Rio's eyes widened. Certain parts of her body were overcome with flames, and she wasn't used to it.

"No I can't! I really have to go," she said. "Besides, I'm hungry. I'd like to go for a walk."

Oz's eyes popped open.

"Not by yourself, you're not. I'm coming with you," he said, pulling the cover back and standing. Rio turned her eyes away as a blush crept across her cheeks. Once she heard him zipping his pants, Rio knew it was safe to get up. Carefully tugging the sheet with her, she stood from the bed and begun the short trip to the bathroom.

Just as she took her third step, the sheet fell away.

Rio gasped and turned around to see what happened. Oz had stepped on the sheet! And what made it more embarrassing was the fact that he was gazing at her. But covering herself up with her hands wasn't working.

Taking a large step toward her, Oz unwrapped her arms, revealing herself to him again. Instead of looking down, he kept his eyes locked onto hers and told her, "You're beautiful, Rio. You don't need to hide your beauty from me."

Shame rushed through Rio.

"I think I'm going to take a shower too," she mumbled at the ground. "Could you get us breakfast?"

Rio almost cried of shame when she heard her husband sigh. Oz pulled his hands away from her arms and said gloomily, "Yeah. I'll go get us breakfast."

With a curt nod, Rio turned on her heel and hightailed it to the bathroom. She leaned against the door and let the tears fall freely once she heard the hotel room door slam shut.

"What have I done?"

I actually had this chapter done yesterday, but I couldn't update because the power was down for twelve and a half hours. :(

It was horrible.

Anyway, hope you liked it!

I have to get started on the next chapter if I'm going to update again. Who knows how long it will take me?
