Greys Anatomy Season 7 Episode 10

Evening
Dexter Avenue — Eric and Lexie's Townhouse

Lexie made it through half a paragraph before she realized Eric had packed another shirt.

She stopped.

Looked at the bag.

Looked at Eric.

Then back at the bag.

"Is that three?"

Eric continued folding.

"Yes."

"Three shirts?"

"Yes."

"For tomorrow?"

"Yes."

Lexie lowered Bailey's fistula protocol into her lap.

"You're coming home tomorrow."

"I'm aware."

"You're not staying overnight."

"I'm also aware of that."

"Okay, so—" She pointed toward the bag. "Why are there three shirts?"

Eric smoothed one sleeve before placing it beside the other two.

"You complained last time."

Lexie's mouth dropped open.

"I did not complain."

"You asked why I hadn't brought a change of clothes."

"At Cristina and Owen's housewarming."

"Yes."

"I was teasing you."

"That wasn't clear."

"Oh, come on."

"You criticised my clothing."

"I was flirting with you."

"Ah."

"Don't 'ah' me."

"I didn't realise there was a distinction."

"There is a huge distinction."

"I'll make a note."

Lexie stared at him.

Then her eyes dropped toward the bag again.

"Wait."

Eric went back to packing.

She counted.

One.

Two.

Three.

Then looked toward the shirt he'd hung on the wardrobe for the morning.

Her head snapped back around.

"Those are three extra shirts."

"Yes."

"You're wearing that one."

"Yes."

"So you're taking four shirts."

"No."

"Eric."

"I'm packing three."

"And wearing one."

"Yes."

"That is four shirts."

"Yes, but I'm not packing the fourth."
