Omg. I can't eat anything! I got my braces tightened and now my mouth is all sore 😢 I miss food... 😂 Yeah, alright, go on. I'll let you read. I know you guys hate reading these useless Author's Notes 😆
Please tell if I've made any mistakes that I might of missed! It would be very helpful!Serena's P.O.V
Holy crap. I slept with Ash Ketchum. Okay, so I technically didn't sleep with him, but holy crap.
I buried my face into my hands as I reached the front of my house. I swear, I was about to freaking explode. I SLEPT WITH ASH KETCHUM.
"Hi sweetie." My mom said, opening the front door of the house.
"Hi." I said flatly and entered the house, getting ready to run up to my room.
"So did you sleep alright last night?" My mom asked.
"Yes- I mean no! I mean- you know what? I need to go get something from my room." I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and ran into my room, ignoring my mom.
"AGH!" I slammed the door behind me. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!" I jumped onto my bed and grabbed one of my pillows and pressed it up against my face and screamed as loud as I could.
I then heard a bark to the side of me and I removed the pillow and saw Fenn right next to me, tilting her head sideways.
"You don't even know." I threw the pillow back on top of my forehead.

"Serena?" I heard my mom knock on the door.
I opened my eyes to see the pillow still covering my face, so I grabbed it and threw it off the bed and sat up after hearing my mother's voice.
"What is it?" I asked grumpily.
"I want to know if you ate breakfast or not. I'm just about to make some eggs and pancakes." She yelled through the door.
"I'm not hungry." I sighed and let myself drop back down onto my bed.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure." I said, irritated now.
"Remember that we have to go to your first horse racing practice this summer tomorrow."
"Yeah, I know." I sighed, knowing that it was going to be the same old routine as every year, me not wanting to go.
I then heard my mom's footsteps walk away and down the stairs. Thank goodness.
I looked over to the clock next to me and saw that it was 10 o'clock.
I heard my phone vibrate in the pocket of my vest, so I got out my phone seeing that Alain texted me.
Should I feel happy about him texting me? I don't know how I feel about this... To be honest, I don't think I like him anymore.
I opened up the text messages and saw that he texted, "Hey. I was wondering if you want to go out to eat? Maybe Saturday?"
Saturday? I mean... I guess, it's only in two days, but... I just don't won't to go out with him at all, but it's not like I can just deny him. That would be rude.
"Sure." I texted back.
"Sweet. Do you want go to that new restaurant across from the mall?"
"That's fine. I don't mind."
"Around seven then, maybe?"
"Sounds good." I replied.
From then on, the conversation ended. I hope that that's the last conversation we ever have too, but of course, I have to go out on a date with him, so I'm going to have to say something to him.
"Breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs, her voice muffled.
I sighed and stood up from my bed, Fenn jumping of the bed as well and followed me to the bedroom door and downstairs.
I've realized something. I want Ash. Not Alain.
Ash's P.O.V
I looked over at my phone. Maybe?... No... well, I could- no... But maybe- nah... Wait, no. Pull yourself together Ash. You can do this.
I felt my heart beat against my chest as my palms were now sweaty, my mind struggling to do what I was planning to do.
"How should I put it?" I asked myself.
Chu meowed and climbed up onto the bed next to me.
"Do you know how to ask a girl out?" I asked.
All Chu did was tilt his head sideways, obviously confused.
I sweat dropped. "I didn't expect an answer anyway."
"I guess I could..." I started, my shaking hand reaching out towards my phone, but then I let my hand fall back down next to me as I screamed out in aggravation. "Why can't I just freaking text her?"
I looked down at my phone again, my eyes locked on it.
"Okay..." I breathed. "I can do this. All I have to do is just ask a question. One simple question... That could ruin our friendship and lead to us never talking to each other again." I frowned. "Yep." I said sarcastically. "Nothing could possibly go wrong."
I then grabbed my phone and placed it in front of me, my hands wobbly. I opened text messages and went to the one labeled "Serena."
"Okay." I took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." I then started to type out the sentence, 'I was wondering if we could maybe go out sometime on Saturday?'
I felt my hand shake as I pressed the 'send' button.
I then sat there on the bed and waited for a reply. It eventually took about 10 minutes until I felt my phone vibrate my hand.
I jumped up and immediately opened up the text messages.
She texted back, "Like a date?"
I felt my heart stop. It's technically a date right? Yeah. I-it's a date... Oh great, now I'm stuttering in my own thoughts.
"If you want it to be a date. It doesn't have to be one though." I texted back.
I waited another few seconds until she replied with, "Sorry, but I'm going out with Alain on Saturday."
I felt my heart crack and fall apart.
"Maybe tomorrow then?" I asked, sounding a little too anxious.
"Sorry, but I'm busy that day."
"Oh." I texted back, my heart aching. Was she making all this up just to try not to hurt my feelings? Or was all of this true?
"But you could come with me tomorrow to the place I'm going to. You don't have to of course. It's just horse racing practice." She finished.
I felt my heart lift up again slightly.
"Sure. What time do you have practice?"
"It starts at 7a.m."
I practically fell off my bed after hearing 'a.m.'
"Okay, so where is it at?"
"You can just get a ride with me if you want. My mom's driving me there, but I don't think she would mind."
"Okay, I'll be there." I said, leaving the conversation with a small smile on my face.
I guess it's better then nothing... Does that mean she accepted the date? I blinked. Is this a date?
