Ramblings of a Red Haired Girl

So today was my FFA competition. I guess we did good.

So all the teams were separated into groups called flights and each team went against the other teams in their flight. There were three teams from my town. The other two were in a flight together and my team was in a different flight.

Well the other teams' flight was much easier than ours, meaning it was easier to win. So one of the other teams took first in their flight. They made it to finals. The other team did not but they knew they wouldn't get in anyway so they were ok.

So we were in our flight. We tied for second. I mean that's good. But the thing is since we tied, they did a draw for the second place winner. We ended up at third.

Now any other time, I would be like yay!! We tied for second!! Go us!!

But I'm not. See that other team. The one that got first. They brag. A lot. And then they got first. They are gunna be all like what now we are better than you cause we got fist and we made it to finals and you guys suck cause you didn't. They always do. Especially Rade. Ya... I think I've talked about him before. He's on that team. I'll explain stuff about Rade later.

So we got back to the dorm and there were some of the older kids and we told them how we did and that the other team is going to be mean to us and stuff and their like oh that won't happen. They will congratulate you and you will congratulate them and they won't put you down for that.

They don't get it. That team.. The last thing they will do is congratulate us. They will put us down every chance they get. They will be like we made it to finals we are soo much better than you bla bla bla. And the thing is that they will never get in trouble for it. They will never get caught. And we can't go like tell a teacher because the teacher would never believe us. It's kinda a problem.

And I'm not saying that they arn't good or nice people. They are. But they can be really... Umm... Well they will put others down sometimes. Like this.

The thing I hate the most about that team is Rade. He's been my rival my whole school life. He's the guy who isn't exactly good at sports (he's short so he kinda sucks at stuff) so he goes to his brain. He's one of the smartest. Straight a's. never fails a test.

I'm the girl like that. I am good at school and using my brain. I'm more observant than most people (not meaning that people arn't observant or that I'm better than anyone. I just notice little things that everyone else ignores. And I remember them)

I've always wanted to beat Rade in something. I thought that maybe FFA would be that something. But I have to admit. He's better than me at everything. I hate that. He's better than everyone at everything except being nice. He can be polite but not nice. I've wanted to beat him at something. Anything. But I failed again.

Well I'm about to fall a asleep so ttyl everyone.
